As for #2, when I first heard the original video, I truly wasn't impressed. But this one has been made well. Thus I actually kind of... like it. Which doesn't happen really often with songs of this genre.

Pinkie is the pony that's grown on me most during the course of the show. I'm usually not crazy about the totally random! MPDG-type characters but Pinkie is such a sweetheart and I love her gluttony/love for chocolate.
