The semi-annual BroNYCon is happening once again in January! As is the norm for the ever-growing pony extravaganza, they have finally released information on the special guests attending the event! check out the copy paste below.
BroNYCon, the ever-expanding convention of pony goodness, has just announced two absolutely incredible Guests of Honour for its upcoming January event! The headliners this time are Andrea Libman (voice of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy) and Nicole Oliver (voice of Princess Celestia and Cheerilee).Ms. Libman and Ms. Oliver join a star-studded cast of brony community celebs including John Joseco, PixelKitties, and the Bronyville colts, Apple Cider & Chef Sandy. Both of these beloved voice actresses will be available for autographs, and will participate in a Q&A session with the audience.
The event date is Saturday, January 7, 2012. Registration info is here, and Purple Tinker informs us that the ticket price of $35 is about to go up to $40 on Monday, so get your RSVPs in early. The venue this time is the Hotel Pennsylvania in Manehattan, and a group rate is presently being negotiated for cheap rooms.

The voice actors attending is really awesome. I wonder how it'll be sitting there and having probably hundreds of eyes staring (also probably screaming and/or cheering) waiting for you to do "those" voices. Must feel great for them to get all this appriciation for the work they've done.

Bah, another occassion when I wish I was randomly in America at the time. I'd enjoy just knowing what Andrea looks like, as I can't find a definite picture of her on google, and she voices my favourite character.

I went for a totally different type of convention though. I assume it'll smell at least a little bit better for Bronycon.

@mycutiemarkisagun I'd run it for free if I could. It costs a lot of money to do these things. Thousands just for the GoHs alone. Thousands more for the venue. Thousands still more for the merch. Thousands more for food and drinks. Putting on a convention is not easy.

YAY about all the VAs and artists, fer sure, but I'm stoked to meet Apple Cider & Chef Sandy just as much. Their podcast is my favorite background noise when I'm doing art and customizing. Sometimes when AC does one of his silly voices / impressions, or goes on a rant about something I just have to stop what I'm doing and giggle helplessly until I regain control. That's entertainment!
