And in other news, a Sauron balloon from Lord of the Rings was buried in those .swf files from the Canterlot Castle game. How... crazy. Thanks XTUX345 for that discovery. That sounds like the model number for these motherboards I'm trying to decide between for Skyrim!

Dye. The same way Rarity would've dyed Twilight's coat a new colour if she hadn't escaped from Carousel Boutique in episode 1.
Too bad we didn't get to see Luna looking like that in the episode.
That eye, on the other hoof, was all over the place during the Nightmare Night episode, and not just on balloons. I think Egophiliac used it in her Luna game too.

was about to say, that eye looks like the moniker of the auric potato/golden russet (thiessen's drawings I notice have that kind of eye in a bunch of them)...But I think I remember a similar eye structure that did make an episode or two, like this one (correct me please if i'm wrong)

Yeah, I noticed that too.
It's often neat what you can find if you can snoop around within a game or it's files. I remember my dad finding a secret outhouse in "Crimson Skies:High Road to Revenge", which you could enter and it was implied that you used it for a bathroom break.

i wouldn't be able to play the elder scrolls Skyrim on the PC not for the lack of computing power but for the fact that i would use cheats around 5 min into the game :(

As noted in the original Pink Luna comments, it's not the existence of the balloon that was interesting, it was that the asset's name was "Sauron Balloon".
I for one welcome this independent confirmation Pink Luna's origin.
