Super Smash Brothers: Brony Edition Project
More crazy game mods are under way. This one focuses on bringing ponies to Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

That little animation snippet is from the upcoming "Amethyst of Gemworld" short, and it doesn't look like Lauren Faust is involved in that particular short (though Brianne Drouhard (potatofarmgirl) is doing animation for it). She rides an alicorn in the original comic, so no, that doesn't look like a MLP reference either. Still, I'm not complaining; I love Brianne Drouhard's work. :)

So the pony mods for Skyrim have finally turned up. It only took 4 days. You gotta love how fast this fandom does these things.
When I saw that image, the first thing I though was Amethyst of Gemworld. I remember my cousin having a book of her when I was younger. I was kind of hoping she was part of the Super Friends short as a way to get her back into the DC lime light, the same way Brave and The Bold did it for a lot of the more obscure heroes and villains. I remember that there was a few attempts to bring her into the main DC universe that didn't go so well. I'll still watch the short anyway. If its anything like the comic, It should be interesting.
Ah, the rest of what happened at the Houston meetup wasn't mentioned.
Basically, the best part was we ended up going to dinner at Red Robin, and when one of the girls that works there found out that we were the Houston Bronies, and came up to the table, and in a tiny, Fluttershy-esque voice, said "I like Scootaloo." The whole table jumped up and cheered for her.
Also, at the end of dinner, our server (the man holding Dashie in picture #21) told us that knowing that people like us exist makes his life happier, and boosts his faith in humanity!

I'm just glad that an idiot ruined the fact your character can become a werewolf for me, because if they hadn't, EQD would have just ruined it for me anyway. Please take into consideration that some of us don't like ANY kind of spoiler at all, didn't look up anything to do with Skyrim before release and that some people also don't have the time to be playing each and every day. Thank you.

As far as spoilers go, Werewolves are about as big a spoiler as finding out your character can use a sword.
@Tylendal You don't have to hack your Wii to use Brawl mods, if that's what concerns you. It's possible to launch homebrew off of a non-hacked Wii. It's just a bit more time-consuming since whenever you want to use homebrew you'll have to launch Brawl first to get into Gecko OS to then launch the game again with mods on.

I didn't know werewolves were going to be in the game at all, all I heard was rumors they would be and I didn't want to look into it any further. None of my friends who play it knew either, up until one friend decided to ruin it for the rest of us.

I'm impressed you managed to stay that in the dark about it. I'm trying to do the same thing with Mass Effect and Zelda. I refuse to read anything about them, and if someone starts talking about them I just run away screaming (OK maybe I don't actually do that last thing, but I want to).
It's true, the Princess Amethyst shot isn't from Lauren Faust. But it's from Brianne Rouhard (potatofarmgirl), and she's a pretty fantastic artist in her own right.
Now I can ride around in style as I traverse Skyrim in my quest to slay dragons!

It's not hard. All I saw about Skyrim before release were the trailers. If I accidentally came across a page with stuff about it on it, I would close it. I don't understand why someone would want to know every single spoiler there is to know about a game they haven't bought yet, seems a waste of money in the end if you know everything that happens already...
@Chaoyll While I see your point, you have to take into consideration that it's not the ED crew's job to look into every reported Skyrim mod post to make sure it's safe for people that don't want to be exposed to the least bit of information. It'd be unreasonable to expect them to go through all that trouble for a very small subset of people. At the end of the day, finding out you can turn into a werewolf won't be (as Rarity would put it) "The worst. thing.EVER." I'm sure Skyrim has much better surprises in store than that.
Speaking of the animation and Brianne Drouhard, you all should check out her Billie the Unicorn book. The art is amazing. Sure it's aimed at kids but so is a certain cartoon we all like. I just look at it as an artbook.
