After the Yogscast debacle I was under the impression he'd be doing his best NOT to make large slices of the internet despise him. So if he's trying to troll the most powerful fandom on the web he's dumber then I thought.

I remember that creepypasta stuff about 'Herobrine', the ghost of freakin Minecraft, first he clearly stated it wasn't real, and then he said something that basically implied the opposite (I don't remember well). It just looks like Notch like to troll everyone.
But one of the random title screens in Minecraft said bronies were cool. So maybe he likes ponies, but as far as I know he likes to confuse people.
All I know is what Video Games Awesome said about it.... And I trust them more than anyone. Especially since they were there.

Well then maybe you should check out the Yogscast Twitter feed and hear the whole story before you go make unfounded assumptions. Besides, Notch admitted he was a fault and apologized to them.

I've done some research, and this page on the Notch-Yogscast thing seems to be the most complete in terms of links.
A proportion of the other other pages I've found tend to go on about how Yogscast is really popular, a huge proportion of the Minecraft fanbase love 'em, stuff like that. Yet I've never heard of them before yesterday.
Still, that whole topic is not something I'm gonna touch with a 20-foot pole.
Notch may or may not like ponies. That was the point of this post.

Never played minecraft, but I read up a bit on the whole cause célèbre this week, sounds like fatigue and hearsay on both sides.

Well, talk about a double-edged sword. That could end horrifically, especially so few people on the internet outside of the brony community understand the "love and tolerate" motto we've accepted as a standard. Official evidence on a blog of this caliber could really backfire...

Since the topics already out, I personally think Notch was worse than Yogscast.
We have no idea Notch's claims are true, so I got nothing on that. But it doesn't matter because there's something that makes that whole thing irrelevent.
Notch tweeted all that shit. He was pretty much whining and called Yogscast "total dicks". No evidence to back his claims.
But more importantly, there's this whole thing called love and tolerance. As long as Notch and Yogscast are sorry for whatever the hell they both did, I'm willing to completely forget all of this. And I kinda think we all should be.

1- Notch has never watchd MLP, and likely has no intention to unless we get Jeb to first.
2- If Notch did watch MLP, he would love Fluttershy. I will personally send him a plushie if I get proof of the above.

I totally mentioned something about this in last nights nightly roundup! If you watch the second part of the Minecon panel (on youtube) around 12:33 one of the guys mentions MLP. Although, it was not Notch (apparently it was a guy by the name of Lewis Brindley as told to me by Gadvac) I believe that it will not take long for him to join the herd if he is surrounded by fellow bronies. :)
