• Flash Game: Epic Portal Time

Pinkie Pie with a portal gun?  This is the most dangerous combination imaginable.  I wonder what happens when you open a portal outside of the 4th wall?

    Check the game out here!

    2. I despise whoever made that stupid crossfail...

    3. Not bad, would like to see it finished. The only thing that irked me is I didn't have control over Pinkie in the air.

    4. It would be very much improved if the mouse clicks could fire the portal gun instead. Definitely a cute Pinkie sprite though.

    5. So you've got Portal, one of the best things going right now, and ponies, also one of the best things going right now.

      A sequel must be made!

    6. Bah, I couldn't even get past the second stage. lol Probably something I was missing but I'm not really a Portal player. :P

no, it's nothing to do with portal logic. you have to walk forward and let go of the cube without falling into the pit.

    8. it's a cool idea, but i'm afraid the games execution was too poor. controls were awkward, the solution to chamber two isn't clear, and it just needs alot more polish.

    9. Over all, I thought it was a lot of fun. Simple, short, and not really polished yet but still a very good attempt at fitting the two series together.

Once you get the controls, it is pretty solid - mouse clicks for portal control would be a better choice since you are using the mouse to aim already.

I agree with you on that one. The portal functionality works, but the game is a little clumsy. Controlling the portal gun was fiddly; it'd have made more sense if the gun tracked the cursor visibly.

Still, I stand by what I said before. Portal and ponies need more crossing over.

      How would you improve it?

    11. I hate whenever someone speaks about "the fourth wall".
It got stupid a long time ago.
      I mad.

mastly what others have said: visible cursor, mouse click deployment, provide more instructions, scrap chamber two (i'm sorry, but it just didn't work).

    13. An interesting crossover but I'm going to have to say thumbs down. I get that whoever made this was probably left handed but most people are right handed and the arrow keys should have been the primary means for movement.

    14. Haha. Beat it. Well, it could use a lot of improvement in the gameplay mechanic. The concept is one I've wanted to see implemented for a while, but this definitely has the feel of a work in progress.
      Keep at it. :)

    15. Yep, just what everyone has been saying, it needs improvement.

    16. Its like bonus levels for Portals II, but ponyfied!

twice the fun, twice the ponyness

    17. Oh, you guys are so silly. Pinkie doesn't need a portal gun to warp around.

    18. It was fun, but I think that having the motion tightened up a bit would make the game.

    19. That was bad. Really, really bad.

You know that wasn't something this or another fandom made up, right? The term's been around since Shakespearean plays. It's not likely to die down anytime soon.
