Purple Tinker and Zebranky recently ordered a whole bunch of blindbag ponies from that listing on Taobao. As of right now, I don't think these have showed up at any actual retailers yet.
Included in the mix are various male ponies, as well as some very different glow-in-the-dark versions of the mane cast. Apparently the pink/purple shows up green.
It's a shame the originals never made it stateside, lets hope these do! I want some glowy mane cast and Lyra.
After the break, you will find a massive chart, listing each pony, the small "blurb" of information listed on their character card, and their reference number (So you can pick and choose if they ever show up in your area. Just match the number with the imprint on the actual blindbag).

This would be wave 3, not wave 2. In any case, I'm going to get ahold of these somehow. I wonder though why the mane 6 aren't numbered 1-6 (and the glow versions numbered 22-24) as in previous blind bag sets. Trying to evade us collectors? Not gonna work; we still figured out the numbers. ;)

I guess Hasbro thinks they can collect more money by getting people to buy the 'full size' ponies in the states because there's a bigger demand for pony. That's the only reason I can of why these aren't here.
On the other hand, I definitely wouldn't buy my little sister that Fluttershy; she'd recognize it's Rainbow Dash recolored. So I guess you win, Hasbro.
When doing Transformer repaints oftentimes Hasbro will give them new head molds to differentiate the characters, but apparently it's way to freaking expensive for them to make more than 6 pony molds. Something doesn't seem right here.
Hasbro, you're already catering to me in one market, why not just go ahead and cater to me with ponies too.

Also found what LOOKS like a white celestia on taobao. I really don't know what any of the details are, but it sure looks impressive. Unfortunately, they ditched the molded hair for the brushable hair. They maintain pink on the wing tips.

(I apologize for the parasprites in the comments, and for my rage mode after the image. Ignore the first few comments if you like. I let the parasprites get to me. Apparently, people like to repeatedly vandalize your tags with insults when you don't manage to get them posted within a half second of the image going up.
I really don't know HOW taobao works, but this looks interesting to say the least. I'm not sure if this is some one off thing from China, or if it's an actual future product.

It isn't a white Celestia. I bought one with this shipment because it LOOKED white. It's pink. It's just slightly less pink, if at all. :)
Also, you can't buy any more on Taobao; I bought ALL of them. Furthermore, you can't buy directly from Taobao unless you have a ship-to address in China. Also, it takes around a month to get any of this stuff into the US, and you TOTALLY don't want to hear about what the shipping costs.
This gives me a little ray of hope. Apple Dazzle was clearly named Apple Bumpkin in the show so the names of the toys do not directly correlate to the names in the show. Long live Lyra, Carrot Top, and Berry Punch!

As for the weird Celestia toy I found on the site.
How pink are we talking. Celestia's edge details on the show are most definitely pink, but her coat color is white. I'm OK with the pink wing tips, since so many of those pink edge lines are utilized to render all the feathers of Celestia's large wings on the show, shifting the overall color space of the wings slightly pink.
How is the body coat color compared to the old style Pink toys? Ar the wing tips actually a darker pink, shifting the perception of the image and making the body just seem less pink? I know bad photo's can do wonders in concealing the true color of an image.
Any chance of posting some pics of this one you got under good lighting, maybe next to a 5 pack gift set Celestia, for comparison purposes?

As for shipping, I buy parts form China on occasion. Nothing like dealing with multiple palettes of electric motors, and finding they all are built to the quality standards of chinese junk. Can't even tell you how many have had to have rework. Certainly cheaper than sending the bad ones back. I'm sure they count on that! Heck, I even service my own cellphone when it breaks. Stupid throw away society. I get cell parts from China, and thanks to that, I've been out of my 2 year contract for years now. I'm a bit familiar with all the insanities of Chinese shipping. I'm just bummed they are gone... This makes my Luna avatar sad... but you can't see... cause, you know, her mouth is full of apples.

As far as Lyra goes, I say her full name is Lyra Heartstrings. That way if you call her Lyra you're not wrong, and if they call her Heartstrings on the show it would be like how Fry and Leela are called by their last names. Everypony wins!
