mane 4, suuuuuurrre
Why no zoom on 2?
Woo! Luna gets Tia back!
Gets back at Tia**I derped grammar class.
Oh god nooooo fur affinity! Bro ask the image guy to reupload it to another hoster before people associate bronies with furries. Oh celestia the horror the horror!
@Travis SmithIt just takes a little bit to load, I had to wait around 20 seconds. Both of them were good. I liked the second one more, especially the ending.
Mane Four? Dems fightin' words!!Still, adorable comics, both =)
SIBStallions in Black...............Oh god, someone might get a fanfic idea from this.
FA rage in 3...2...1...go!
#1 Hehe, I liked it.#2 That wasn't funny at the time, If I were a cat i'd have shot straight up into the air.I suppose I deserve it for forgetting to tell her about the royal canterlot voice.(I have a feeling people are going to complain about the link though, i'm not fond of FA but if it bothers you then wipe it off your internet history afterwards)
inb4 FA rage!
Trolluna? Trollestia's better.
@Laurence BrownThanks it worked@SandmanOnly if it's a good one
@FlutterfanLet me clarify, I only hate Furaffinity because the image link won't function properly on mobile devices. That being said, I'm afraid to ask why rage is being expected...
@MasqueradeA few days after S2 Ep1 aired, someone on FA released some Flash videos of the ponies dancing based on Discord's Dance. Well apparently not everypony took this so well and started raging over the unwarned FA links.
#1 Seems legit. Also, I noticed the two ponies in black's initials together are "JK". Wonder if that's supposed to mean something or not.#2 Hah! Dat trickster Luna. I was kinda expecting a Thriller type motion of some sort a couple times in this comic. Especially when they surrounded Celestia and Luna. lol Nice comic.
#1 was reasonably amusing, but the artist has done better comics.#2 was terrific, though, great use of Zecora's Nightmare Night story in the captions. Clever posters in the second panel, too. Though I wish Luna had said 'Gotcha' between the last two panels...
1. Zips up jacket. I missed what happened?2.Luna you troll.
I always thought a lot of the rage people seemed to have over FA was because some Bronies just dislike Furries.
^ That's hilarious since people without an FA account can't see anything explicit on the site (unless its tagged incorrectly).
That was @ keneticpest. Daymn you guys are fast!
@Masqueradebecause FA is full of some of the worst scum on the internet.also we don't want to be too associated with the Furry Fandom, who have just about the worst reputation of any group on the nets.
I assume this "play" is a Cupcakes Movie? That would be terrifying...
@Octaviait's not so much that, it's more that I don't want to be associated with them, we have enough problems with our fandom's reputations as is, the last thing we need is to be tied to FA.also the fact is a segment of the furry fandom sort of uses it as excuse to draw the most screwed up porn around, again don't want to be tied to that.
There's a reason they only show 4 of the mane six. It's explained in the description. It's because Twilight and Rainbow weren't afraid of Luna so their memories weren't wiped. Also, J and K are the names (initials) of the Men in Black characters, are they not?
@DarkJesterI know, it was silly.
When I looked at the last panel of the first comic, I started to blink a lot and temporarily forgot what I was doing O_OTrue story.
#1, So they gave her a proper farewell. Why don't they reme-*red flash*...uh...what was I talking about?#2, :) pfft, ta ha ha ha ha. :D That was awesome. Remember viewers, the Royal "We" is a medieval times reference, not a multi-personality disorder.
@MojoThe reputation of FA, and of furry fandom as a whole, is pretty badly overblown, which really shouldn't come as a surprise to us. Overblown or not, though, it's still not a reputation we'd want associated with our own fandom. That said, if anyone thinks that occasionally linking to MLP-specific content on FA will cause bronies to be associated with furry fandom, they're way overreacting.
@MojoLook, could you please put down your bashing stick and listen for a second? As I have said before, (and will say again and again because I will stand up and defend what I am apart of), Furries are not scum, ok? I am getting sick and tired of this complete idiocy in people. Now yes, there are a few screwed up ones, but the we all dont associate with them. It's like creepy old Uncle Frank at the family reunion. No one talks to him or about him and wishing he wasn't there, but people outside the family always get to meet him first and then run away screaming. Furries are the best friends I have ever had, such cartoonists, its amazing! One of them drew Balto on a snow mountain, looked way better than what Disney could ever do. But does anyone see it? No, because they are frightened away by Uncle Frank. So please, Mojo, just as YOU dont want to be associated with Uncle Frank, dont associate US (the cartoonists, the costume designers, the musicians, the story writers) with him either. It truly sickens me to the core to hear such bashing.....
@Mojo two things, okay? 1. Shut. 2. Up.
Inb4 FA rage, inafter mini FA rage or Love and Tolerance prevails?
@Deimos_FoxxI never said they were.I said that there is quite a bit of Scum on FA.and the only reason these "uncle franks" remain is because you guys let them, you've allowed them to corrupt your image by not orchastrizing them.also "Furries are the best friend's iv ever had" that's just sad dude, get some friends outside of internet communities.also this is another reason furries are so disliked, you guys are way way oversensitive people on the internet HATE that, even more so then the crazy porn actually.
@Timberawww is little babby gonna cry?grow up, i didn't even really insult the furry fandom, I merely stated it's not good for our fandom to be tied to them due to their reputation.
Trollestia just got TROLLED!
@Deimos_Foxx You're saying: "Look, these people are okay. Only some of them are like that." I agree, but that's not how the general public goes. They think furries, and then you know what they think. Remember that thing Fox News said about bronies and how that took people that knew nothing about them and made them hate us all forever? Yeah. It's not too far a stretch to be afraid of using "brony" and "furry" in the same context.
Well, seems that Mojo jojo is one that cant be reasoned with, one that ignorant and loves to put down. Haha, which brings a song to mind, "Trolololol lololol lololol lolololooooool" Hahaha, my day just got better, lol.Anyways, about the comics, which is what truly matters here, they were both pretty good, I liked em! ^-^
@banannagramYeah, I understand, and even though there is a huge cross over in both fandoms, they should not be connected, just like there are those back then that liked both Star Trek and Star Wars.
@Deimos_Foxxand here we have another trait of fantards, things they don't like are pointed out, they cover their ears and go "YOUR IGNORANT, LALALALALALALA"you don't get it on the Internet to get respect you have to be cold, you gotta be hard.and of course ignoring opinions and things you dislike just because you dislike them isn't really a healthy thing to do.
@ZeroCereal and SomethingDifferent:Your "not" first and second comments were pretty funny, in an ironic way.
@MojoWe're a fandom of (mostly) grown men who watch a program aimed for little girls.Quit worrying about nonexistent problems.
@DJ Katexactly right there we already have a problem just by virtue of what the fandom is about, why should we compound it with more problems?
@Mojo Shut up, you dolt. We've gained respect with a reputation as a tolerant, accepting community, which in itself proves your "To gain Internet respect you have to be a douchebag" argument completely wrong. In any case, why the fuck should we care what Anonymous Internet User #4536271 thinks about us? You yourself just got done calling someone pathetic for having an Internet life and caring about it, and now you're worried about our Internet reputation? The hypocrisy is strong in this one.
@Xort>us>respectactually we are currently only slightly above the Sonic Fandom in general internet hatred toward us.though in our case it's more about us being everywhere and people being convinced that something like having a pony avatar on *INSERT FORUM HERE* is pushing the show on them, rather than the immense amount of things the sonic fandom is known and hated for (some of which are present in ours but far more contained) and im not saying be a douchebag im saying when someone insults the fandom or show or whatever just leave them be and don't complain about them doing so, don't talk about how our fandom is "persecuted" people don't like stuff they perceive as whiny.I didn't insulting him for having an internet life, I have one too I insulted him for basically saying that his best friends are internet fandom friends (which was actually an assumption on my part, he just said they were part of the furry fandom too) I find that idea to be quite sad.
Gods people, stop fighting. The irony here is the furry fandom is known for its drama, yet the only people who seem to be creating drama here are the bronies whining about furries.Besides, the only difference between bronies and furries is the species we like. Most furries started by being fans of animated shows with.. you know, TALKING ANIMALS in them.
@Mojo>you don't get it on the Internet to get respect you have to be cold, you gotta be hard.Sounds like being a doucher to me. The fandom is about being warm and accepting, which kinda flies right in your plan's face. Also, what the hell's wrong with your best friends being people you met on the Internet? One of my best friends is a Scottish lady, and I'm American. I met her over the Internet. I really don't see the problem. You're just making a whole lot of judgments about people and generally being an asshole, so if anyone is going to give the fandom a bad name, it's people like you.
@Xortas I said all that i mean by that is don't complain when people bash the show or the fandom, and don't cry about Persecution or whatever. nothings theoretically wrong with it, I have lots of people on the internet who I consider friends, who I give gifts and send stuff too, but I just find the idea of maintaining a really close relationship like what i have with my closest friends when you are barely able to actually see them.yeah I can be a judgmental douche sometimes I know.but hey Iv gotten the laughs I wanted out of this so whatever.
@Mojo> don't complain when ponies bash the show or the fandom, and don't cry about Persecution or whatever. And linking to FA is going to instantly cause bronies everywhere to start whining about persecution? Yeah, sorry but no. 3/10 lrn2troll better.
@MojoLolinternet respect. Seth can grab his comics from anywhere he damn well pleases. It's not up to us to be the Internet Police(tm), and giving a shit about it either way is just blood in the water for trolls.Second comic fell a little flat for me (little too much build up, I think), but the first was perfect. Someone tell me there's a Ponies in Black fanfic.
Soo.... I missed the part where you guys talked about the comics....Well, I thought they were good...
@Xortim not talking about that anymore.and im not talking about it here, im talking about it in general, and such whining does exist.
#1 Wait, what? Did everything just taste purple for a second?#2 I thought it was good. Would like to Celestia get pranked/scared on the show. Oh..more trolling and arguing in the comments...aint touching this one. Damn, just hasn't been a good day on EqD it seems. I'm just going to go watch some episodes and spend the rest of the evening with the mane 6.
ah yes I forgot to comment on the actual comics.I liked both of them quite a bit actually.
Hehehe, the joke's on YOU!
Huh...I thought sites like these were made to escape trolls. Not feed them more reaction comments.Silly me....Luna = best pony ever.(And now the agony of waiting another whole season without her.):(
I used to be afraid bronies will be associated with furries. I was an idiot. And so are most of here. There doesn't have to be any ACTUAL connections between us and them. It's just to obvious anyway. Too easy to make. Even if we had absolutely nothing to do with furries, we're fans of a cartoon full of animals. We'd be called furries by haters no matter what. And about the word "furry." The people you say are furries yet are nice people? Get a random, average person and ask him to define furry. By that I mean visualize it. By now, the majority thinks furries are creepy fucks. No one can change that anymore. Best to do is to stop calling the sane guys furries. I always thought giving a name to a fandom was kinda obnoxious anyway. Just call them "fans of cartoon anthro animals" or something.Same for "brony." No one likes bronies outside the fandom. No kidding, everyone hates us. They really think the word "brony" means unemployed fatasses who fap to and obsess over a crappy ass little girls' show. Also gay pedophile furries. What I mean is, we shouldn't call ourselves bronies anymore. That word, just like "furries," is tainted by haters. It now defines something it wasn't supposed to.
@Mojo""Furries are the best friend's iv ever had" that's just sad dude, get some friends outside of internet communities."Where did he say they were friends only on the internet, do you not have any IRL friends who are Bronies? who's to say this isn't the same for him.
I'm pretty sure everyone was scared of her was because her hair changed back to NN and her voiced changed too.
After reading through all of this I'm not surprised at all that someone freaked out about the link to FA. The instant I saw where it went I knew something was going to happen. If I strip the argument it boils down to this. Option 1: Stand by being good people and accept everyone for who they are.Option 2: Segregate our community and exclude others that might give us a bad reputation. The first option is the more optimistic peace on earth route. The second one is self-serving and more about self preservation. When I look at it that way, I'd be more willing to be associated with furries and called a freak then to be some asshole who wants to play favorites. Our planet is too full of people who judge others, at least here I can try and break the mold. Whether or not others join me, I cannot really control.
The comics were Great Even though I don't know why everybody is hating on the furries ....hmm maby I should do some research before talking bad/good about them....the same way I did on broines :D
>Hating on furriesI am not a furry. There is nothing wrong with furries. Bronies, I am dissapoint.
@xxZombieWolfxxYou start by saying you're not a furry.Because, tell me the public image of furries. That's a furry. Furries are not simply fans of anthro. That image goes with the word and you can't separate it.Say you're... okay I don't know if this is a good example but,Say you're a math geek but you're still very social and popular. See what I did there? Being smart doesn't mean you don't have friends. But the image just follows anyway, and it has to be specifically mentioned. So you HAVE to say you're a brony, but you have a life and you're married and you don't obsess over playing with pony dolls or something like that, yknow. (unless the person never heard what a brony is, in which case you shut up and don't put in their heads unnecessary images they don't have yet, but that's off topic. Go look for how to deal with the media.)Anyway, yknow what I'm talking about? I know the public image of furries is wrong, but that's only me. Everyone else believes that. And honestly, linking to FA didn't hurt our image at all. If anything, we may have drew attention to it. But anyway, I'm talking about this since the subject is out, and I want to talk about our stance to the furry fandom. We should both drop the fandom name. Why the hell does a fandom need a name anyway?! especially when they're both derogatory terms by now.
Did anyone here forget the #1 rule of the brony culture? (Atleast #1 in my opinion) "Love and Tolerance"...
@DeRockProjectI get what you are saying, but everything needs a name, to identify what something is when talking to other people. You could might as well be talking about music genres, why do they need names? Because when I'm asked by someone what kind of music I like, I'd have nothing to say except, "That one kinda music, but I hate that other stuff, except for this, it kinda sounds like that other but different."It's not the name that is what's the problem, I think it is what people have done to it, either screwed up ones in the fandom or the ones outside of it; which really saddens me. I think if we didnt have a name, the media would just say "those guys who like MLP," instead of "bronies."
1. I can just imagine Derpy taking the device and blasting herself while repeatedly saying "What does this do?"2. R. I. P. King of Pop, Nightmare Night was definetely a "Thriller".
