Seth, I'm not too sure if broaching the perils of tumblr-space and the ponynet to the manestream is a good idea... Get ready for some emails of confusion and outrage. Just saying.
It was a shout out to the Ipsywitch tumblr, which is linked on the comic's description. Also, reading the entirety of the blog would help you understand it more as well, as well as it's origin from the Rainbow Dash blog that I run.

First one's pretty funny.
#2 is just sort of creepy of Scootaloo.
The first one was chuckle-worthy. The second one was... wut?

I can assure, as a good friend of Aphex (The artist) and a collaborator (Ask Rainb0w Dash), these Tumblrs WILL remain family friendly.
The second one requires more reading of the full tumblr comic set. This one just has the best art on it, and is more of a crossover.

There needs to be one more frame on the first one in the first one with a stampede of turtles.
