Eh, not as good as it could've been. The original had really great and inventive transitions, which is what made it awesome. And what's with the pixellation?
I might be missing something, but isn't the original Bad Apple like a lot smoother? This just seems kind of... pixelated? and the animation is also a bit jerky.
I can name all characters in the touhou version and the pony version. Give me a group picture of any one, I can name them all. Can anyone else do that?
It's good, but there is lots of room for improvement! I think the original Bad Apple was made by silhouetting 3d models, which is why it's so smooth. Plus, the original is really kinetic, and rarely ever stops moving.
But still, this is great! I'd like to see an improved version in the future!
It's awesome! I think the issue is probably is using the long version and filling in the scenes that wasn't in the short shadow version of the song must have been an issue to solve. This is one video i will always love, since it has both MLP and Touhou. Seriously, fans of MLP are getting even better with crossovers. I have yet to complain about anything other than there are too many shipping stories that I try to avoid.

That being said, I felt the whole thing could use about double the frames of animation at least. The movement and transitions felt too choppy for me to fully enjoy it. In its own right, it was okay, but when you do stuff like this, you're going to inevitably be compared to the original, and it fell short in that respect. Hope he tries it again and produces a better product next time. :)
It also might have helped if he used the shortened version of the song used in the Bad Apple! music video, since that would mean he would be able to make better transitions without putting every single character in MLP.

I freaking love Bad Apple. It was great, but I was kinda expecting less choppy and pixally animation. But its amazing, none the less. :3
