ReplyDeleteWas it RD's voice? Because I think what happened was that RD wasn't being her usual blunt, boastful self so her voice didn't sound right.
By the GODS she... is.... BEST PONY! I don't even care what they make of Luna from this point on that ROCKING INTRO is like WOW. Luna still have some of that NMMness to her with those DRAMATIC ENTRY!!

@Bugsydortheres kinda already been a general concept for Lilpip from FO:E and while no real mention of the color scheme has been made in teh story that would sort of just confuse those who already know Lilpip as the grey coated brown haired filly from all the fanarts and the sprite based comic of EqD from Urimas http://urimas.deviantart.com/ just saying.

I just read a WMG on TVtropes saying that Luna might be a "Nightmare Fetishist" http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NightmareFetishist . Based on the badass chariot pulled by bat-winged armored pegasi, I'd say that this WMG might be proven correct. This episode will probably make Princess Luna my new favorite pony (sorry Fluttershy).

Why, she should present herself as black cloak wrapped mistress, riding gothic chariot pulled by dark armor clad batponies (wtf are those anyway). And wearing a menacing smile. While ominous music plays in background. The only thing missing is Evil Laugh, really.
Real smooth there Luna. I can already see every pony loving her to death.
I really hope Pipsqueak is a nephew or something to a certain Doctor in Ponyville, just to confirm the Doctor as being British in the show.

ReplyDeleteI always preferred the Comical pranky fun Luna from Progress - the whiney-emo luna seemed like a stretch, considering she was undderstandably shaken in Episode 2 and remorseful...she was crying for a reason there. Anyone interpreting her as being weak or emo forgets she's an alicorn and the princess in control of the goddamn night...nothing EMO about that whatsoever.
