Canterlot Target Displays Coming Down
Specific Target stores around the USA Are taking down their Canterlot displays. As is the norm for retail stores, if no employee has claimed it, you can totally go pick up a 3D Celestia. Only specific managers are willing to give these out, and it is suggested that you don't badger them for it, but might as well give it a shot right?

So, over the weekend, someone (who is not me-- and who did not have my authorisation) withdrew $800 from my bank account. My bank is "temporarily" giving me it back, but they are asking for an affidavit, and (depending upon what they request in said affidavit) may end up taking it back if I refuse to provide testimony that would incriminate the only suspect-- who happens to be one of my closest friends. I'm really in a bind.

We better get another Majora's Mask countdown until Luna Eclipsed airs Seth. Princess Phoe would do it for us if you didn't tie her up.
I met somebody who is a manager at a Target. They were having a chiptunes "concert" in their basement; a fun night was had by all. Except for the one solo guy who was using pedal effects for his guitar to convert the signal into digital chip-tunes-esque sound waves, and his feedback pedal kept escalating in volume until he had to reset it...three times...while playing for 50 minutes, despite being allotted 30 (but everyone was just too polite to tell him to stop, despite not even being one of the noteworthy performers on the roster that night, or playing anything particularly interesting). Where was I...?
Oh, so the host and her house mates being mostly arts students, their house was decorated eccentrically, with a lot of leftover signage and such used to great decorative effect. They flat out said, "When you're a manager and it's time to change up the signage for each section, especially in the grocery section, nobody bats an eyelid at a manager walking out the door with the old signage."
My Target never had a Canterlot display. They had a sign, but nothing else.

One of the Targets near me still has the Canterlot signs but all the merchandise has been moved to the main pony section and the display is now filled with Barbie and Bratz dresses/blankets and stuff.
Yeah. This place is going to absolutely explode when Luna makes her return. Here and every other pony site as well. Probably break the whole internet. lol
Is that... a castle made out of cake? My goodness. All my want. I would probably get such a bad stomach ache trying to eat that thing. Then again, I wouldn't want to eat it too. It looks too nice. :(
Oooh, the Canterlot displays are coming down and you might have a chance at getting one of the displays. I'll have to ask the local Target here about that too. It's certainly worth a shot at least.

Robbed by a member of your family? Man that's harsh. I don't pretend to know the exact situation, but unless there was some pretty compelling reason not to, I'd provide the affidavit they need to prosecute. Short of starvation I can't imagine why a relative would steal.
I can never get a hold of the cardboard displays. There is always one guy in my area that beats me to it. Hell, the day the displays for the Blu-ray Star Wars came out in my local video store, the display had a reserve sign on its back. Damn you Display ninjas.
Also, that cake is huge. I know they are blind bag toys on it, but I think we are only seeing half of the cake.

I'm not quite onboard with the Luna fandom just yet, even after all this time being a fan of the show. Luna does look like she'll be a good addition to the character roster, until this episode airs, i've yet to see her potential. That being said i'm looking forward to the utter insanity that will ensue after the episode shows this Sat. :P
I'm going to be impressed by her personallity not matter what, most likely. I have seen so many versions of her made up in many different places, so i don't have a good conclusion to come to about what for sure she might be like. It's the advantage to not raising your expectations too high. :)

@Cátsy For the sake of clarity, the event Catsy is refering to is the Extra Life charity mentioned in the roundup, and the author he's talking about is Gravekeeper (The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle). Him and me (the dude that drew Link Derpy) are the only bronies in the group, but everyone else would be more than happy to have large amounts of bronies on our channel. We didn't have a lot of viewers last Saturday but we're hoping you guys will change that.
Gravekeeper will be playing Star Fox 64 and race me at beating Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The rest of the team will also be playing Metal Slug X, Portal 2 co-op, Left 4 Dead 2, TMNT4 Turtles in Time, and more. If there's any games you want to see, please let us know! all the "garbage" had to be destroyed because giving them as "gifts" could require some sort of tax.
we had a big garbage crusher for this things.
when I worked at B and N we were supposed to tear the covers off of all the old books and shred them but I would keep them. I also got to keep a bunch of display pieces. I had some of those big comic book cardboard bookcase things and more. I used them for years.

I've collected several similar displays since... when ever it was .hack//TWILIGHT came out.
Everywhere I asked for one, the only thing they told me was 'If no one else has their name on it.'
And that was how I got a .hack//TWILIGHT Kite standee (minus the tiny book case), general grouping Jump bookcase, and several others, all from different sources: Media Play, Borders, Game Stop, Kmart...
Even when I worked for stores, there was only one time I was told 'No' and that was for a giant floor-to-ceiling display at Sears that was no where near leaving the floor.
Also, several stores in my area never even got a Canterlot display.

I saw the Princess Celestia display at the Super Target in Tucson on Labor Day weekend. The toy selection was extremely limited though, saw mostly Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie but what? No Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash? Geez! Oh well. Went to Target again on Columbus Day weekend and well the display was gone. They still had the MLP toys burried along the Barbie toys and what not but yeah still limited. Wish I had that cardboard though. Would look great in my bedroom.
