Someone over on Youtube recently collected a bunch of video responses of various people talking about how they ended up watching a cartoon for 12 year old girls. We all have our stories, and I've had discussions posts about it in the past, but this is the first time a compilation has been created in video form. Check it out after the break! So a bit more than a week ago I was checking out 9gag when I saw a post related to MLP. I didn't undertand it by then (I'm not involved in message/image boards or any other internet communites other than 9gag) I was curious about it so I checked in memebase. At first I laughted at the very idea of watching a cartoon for preteen girls, but it was pretty late and I was bored so what the heck... I loaded the first episode in youtube, thinking of the next video I'd watch expecting MLP to bore me in just a few seconds. I spent the next 22 minutes in absolute wonder. Since then, I've spent every internet time watching episodes until the one airing today. I find the show simply magnificent and extremely enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteSo here I am, a 25 years old straight, social, athletic, sports loving guy who watchs series like The walking dead, Spartacus or Dexter watching a cartoon whose main characters are colorful ponies.
I'm just going to keep the story short and simple.
