To be completely honest, I've never in my life seen anything related to Dr. Whooves, or Dr. Who, for that matter, and I think this is great. Perfect voice casting. Love Ditzy Doo's attitude and personality(now considering Derpy to be too mean of a name). Good Post, Seth.

Well, the doctor did kinda accidently insult her eyes and frankly would probably come off as a wee bit, as Ditzy puts it, coo coo, so I'd say she's just fine all things considered.
I freaking love these! I just recently got into doctor who because of Doctor Whooves. THe quality of the voice acting is pretty damn superb to top it off! This is my favorite ditzy voice, hands down she would make a great voice actor. want more of these episodes, and can't wait for the animatics!

I love these. And now I don't think I can imagine anypony else doing Derpy or the Doctor's voices.
Got a bit of insight into her [fan-created] character here. Bubbly and fun as everyone knows, but sensitive about her eyes and quite intelligent.
As a Doctor Who fan, I found this actually quite enjoyable. Hopefully they can keep it up. I have audio only Dr Who episodes, and I do enjoy them. Painting the scene in your head can be quite fun

I have to say I really like this voice actress for Derpy. She does a really great job.
This particular Doctor Whooves deserves a lot of credit for his work, but in my mind I just can't pair his voice to the Doctor, especially not when compared to the Jamjar in the Pony in a Box audioplays.
PierceSmoulder(BDR), on the other hoof, IS Derpy.

I will be unreasonably infuriated when Studio B ineveitably gives a voice to Derpy and it's not BaldDumboRat.
I hope to see more of her in the show, wasn't she suppose to have a bigger cameo in an upcoming episode? Or was mention of that here more about just more "wheres Waldo" moments with her this season?
I don't like the way BaldDumboRat voices derpy. I guess derpy to me would have more of a bimbo preppy voice, mixed with some ditz, not straight up retarded. I know people will agree but meh, I'm just not a fan of Pierce :/..

This Doctor Whooves series is quite enjoyable. I'm no fan of Doctor Who-- never watched it actually-- but it's becoming entertainingly interesting.
Is there a fanfic about this? I'm pretty sure there is.
I'm not a Doctor Who fan, but this fandom is more than likely going to drag me down that road. Not sure if want >_>

Found out she actually lives just a couple hours from me. She doesn't seem like a bad person. I mean, encyclopedia dramatica can make even a saint look like a demented fetishist (as an aside, I looked up my user name; thank god there's nothing.. yet). She really just reminds me of a lot of geeky artists I personally know.

I would agree. Encyclopedia Dramatica tends to convey everything with a uniform magnitude of "really strong." While she has her share of un-praiseworthy things, the actual case is not as bad as the article makes it out to be, and it seems to be improving.
And (@Phluorescent), quite frankly, praising some of a person's work does not amount to praising the whole person or everything they've ever done. This particular work is praiseworthy. That's the long and short of it.

If you refer to my post(s) I never once stated my take on those praising her work, my post was more aimed at those that seemed like they were praising her directly, not knowing her previous works.

Praising someone of their work and praising them as a person is indeed not the same, but also completely incomparable with the point I was trying to make.
But seeing as how you are indeed bringing that that into the matter, I'm pretty sure if people here knew half the stuff she's done in the past, their views on her today would be skewed to say the least.
All that being said, I'm not against people being complimented on their work. But it only goes to a certain degree before it becomes completely fruitless gratification.

Funny story about that ED article. A cute little troll wrote it rather horribly and got half the facts wrong, and I, BaldDumboRat, a frequenter to ED since the good ol' snapesnogger days, had to go in and correct 62 typos and fix a lot of the facts. Plus, the article was so boring and not ED-ish enough. So I wrote about half of it and exaggerated the facts substantially, as they should have been.
Anyone who personally knows me would agree that I am a good, fun, and helpful person. Oh internet, y u so silly XD It's like saying the director of Saw is a deranged psychopath~ But it's just being artistically bold on a darker path.
Anyways thanks everyone for the good words, episode 3 is on its way, and I don't deny being weird and a bit out there in my spare time XD Does it make my voice bad? Nah. Does it make me bad? Well, that's up to you, but even my enemies get hugs and muffins from me~

I take EVERYTHING written on ED with a grain of salt. It's so cool to see that you're as down to Earth about it as I assumed you'd be. But, really, do you actually live in southwest Florida?
