Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon, but I thought the first comic was just... nice. </fluttershy> It was sweet and all, but neither Scootaloo nor Rainbow Dash had a chance to show that brashness which I love them for.
The second comic, though, was quite amusing. "Pinkie, you need to stop believing what people are saying on the Internet. That's bad for your pony mind." Words to live by.
Rainbow Dash finally became a Wonderbolt... Scootaloo got to fly with her idol... Scootaloo followed in Rainbow's footsteps and also became a Wonderbolt... And now, a little filly wants to be just like Scootaloo...
I love #1! Seeing Dash and Scoot in the wonderbolts together like that in a show would be my dream come true. See, feel-good moments like this are what the show is all about. I'm sure everyone who read that loved it.
I prefer to think that Scootaloo would find her own way (Pchooooo!) rather than emulate Dash forever, but Scoots picking up her own fan is just so much d'awwww!
