The mareine with the chainsword horn cover better keep her mouth closed...the mess is bad enough when you are _holding_ a chainsaw - I can't imagine what it would be like if it was attached to your head!

Way I see it, if she still breathes, eats, talks, and sleeps, there's nothing wrong with her. Four of the Mane Six are clearly stuck on living in the past. Possibly all six of them, depending on Pinkie's reason for showing Derpy to them, and whether or not Fluttershy was honest.
Derpy will never lose the things that make her truly special! Like being a loving and caring mom to her little daughter, her unerring duty as a mailpony, and, might I say, her exquisite taste in baked goods, just to name a few. How she looks is the least of who she is, and that's a lesson we all can take to heart.
