I have a feeling Trixie may not be back until season 3, because season 2 was already in production when it became apparent just what a fan favorite she would be. Also, didn't Lauren conceive Trixie as a male originally? It was really voice actress Kathleen Barr who MADE Trixie, so I don't think it was apparent she was going to be so amazing until fairly late in the game. But she will be back, eventually, I'm sure.
