Jelfes, I prefer lesbian shipping too, but as long as straight shipping doesn't even cloppy stuff, I don't mind it.
Comedy? Don't have the time to read it just yet, but that picture makes it look like a tragedy.

Well, I'm basically assuming it's a comedy about a group of friends who've remained close despite their lives taking them elsewhere in the world all trying to get together for a major event in the life of one of their own. This results in a huge number of mishaps and hijinks and all of them getting into loads of trouble on the way to their reunion. As indicated in the additional tags, it's a slapstick comedy. There's been movies with plots like this but I don't remember any off-hand.

My shipping acceptance rules:
Is the shipping between two or more males? If so, will not read.
Is the shipping between a male and female character? Is that female character Rainbow Dash? If so, willing to read, else, will not read.
Is the shipping between two female characters? If so, willing/want to read.
That picture is neither lighthearted or slapstick...
I have no shipping rules. All shipping is good shipping if it means the ponies are happy ponies. The only reason I prefer f/f over m/f is is because the males are so undeveloped as characters.
That said I'll probably read this eventually on a slow day. Please do not rate a story you have not read.

Here's mine:
Always give it one chance, and if you still don't like it, give it one more. After that is personal preference.
I don't have much in the way of "shipping rules." As long as it's done well and believably I can generally enjoy it.
I DO however, prefer it when updates are given steadily rather than in one gigantic chunk. It's way more daunting to me to see 11 chapters all at once among everything else I have in my reading queue than about 2 or 3 chapters given in updates every week or so.
But that's just me...
Not enough Rarity, and too mushy. Nice idea, but the whole point of FIM (imo) is to eschew the mushy sentimentality of saturday morning girls' programming. Also, not enough Rarity. And needs more Rarity.

I will read any shipping that doesn't have relationships with inanimate objects as the only shipping. I tend to dismiss ones that look boring, however (oh look another DashX (pun not intended but hilarious once I saw it), with no comedy tag and no indication it has anything to keep me interested...)

Also, stories centering on romatic relationships, usually between two major characters, and often subject to cutesy portmanteau nicknames (Appledash, Twixie, Fluttermac, PinkieShy ... though try not to use "Spit Dash"). The Brony community has an unhealthy obsession with mare on mare shipping, as you will no doubt see immediately, if you are new here.
Thanks ponydorprancypants. It's kind of unfortunate that the work of some really great people is desecrated by some sick minded bastards. I'm not saying this "shipping" stuff is all wrong. I'm sure a lot of it is heartwarming, clever, and endearing. But it seems like a few of the fans of this stuff like it really dirty...and dirty is not very respectful to the artists that made all of this what it is. But ah! The powers of internet and free speech. Perv away!

An excellent piece of work. Yeah, I agree that the image gives off a different impression, but seriously. It's the mad dash for everypony to reunite before the night's over, before that crucial moment where everything changes. Plus, it involves Applejack hanging upside down screaming her head off. Y'gotta give the guy credit where it's due.
Funny, breathtaking, and sweet. Five stars from me.
This is a story that's just plain nice. Everypony is still friends and everypony is doing things with their lives that they love. An excellent break from all the zombies and post apocalyptic ponies. :)

Hetero shipping is an abomination in the eyes of Celestia, a mental illness that the liberal ponies have foalishly made socially acceptable in their politically correct quest to destroy traditional Equestrian family values.
First, I have to say, the flock is wrong with some people? Whining about how the story does not float there boat cause its straight romance? I don't see the same vitriol when its gay shipping, yet do boy girl and people start screaming?
I would also have to say, I do not really see 'shipping' in this story, I see 'slice of life' normal' 'relationships' 'comedy' 'slapstick' 'family' and maybe a few more.
I personaly found it to be a rather nice, sweet story, very much so fitting with the characters, and how thay would posably act in such a siduation. Even giving hints of deapth that might not be noticed in a csual glance through. It also followed a rather logical progression through notification of the principals. I admit I rather like how near the end everyone was panicing to get ready for Dash, expecting her to crash, and instead she landing nice and easy and asked what the fuss was about. That was a well done momant, I could just about visualze the scene. The artwork for the story is also rather apropriate, though its very confusing at first, but if you read the story it does fit very well. Only loose end I would worry about at this point is Sweetie Bell, and if Celestia and Luna wished to be involved.I can see Luna wanting to come, though, that might add its on difaculties.
I have to admit, I rather liked this story, it was a fun romp though a posable future, plesent and enjoyable, a bit of sillyness thrown in to add a good belly laugh, yet at the same time giving a few deep touching momants. I was also kinda suprised, and happy with the relationship you have building with Pinkie and Caramel, very sweet and touching as well, even if it was not really touched on after the start. I also liked how you took Snips and gave him something more than comic releaf as his ability. The inclusion of the CMC as part of the main group was also a very nice touch. Considering the closeness that I saw in the show, I would have expected, given time, that the three fillys would grow to be friends with the main 6 as well.
All in all a good story, I do hope that more is planed for this, so far it feels incompleate, but, that could be in part that you are planing more storys down the line.
THe story can use a good editer run through, but, thats nothing to worry about here. Some more depth and detail in some parts would also be nice, again where a good editer could help, but, still, I would have to say worth a good 5 stars.

Yeah, not much to say. Chapters were a bit short, you could probably at least half them by putting em together. Not that it matters much. Also, you take some time to address the CMC and where they are, but we never see them meet Flutterhy's foal. A bit of a shame that. I understand you want to show where they end up, but they are obviously going to visit so why not show that, too?
Other then that, just a very nicely written and cute slice of life fic.
Not quite finished, but so far awesome!
And be more open minded, at least they're stallions from that nice Apple family with our girls.

Excelent story, well written, ratter short, but gives us a nice warm future to look forward,also very well Fittig personalities.I am a bit amazed that people seem to get bothered by hetero shipping, but each one to their liking.

Anything that's canon isn't shipping. The cakes having sex in a fanfic might be shipping, however, since it's not seen in canon.
I think lighthearted would be a better fit for this than actually calling it comedy. I might have chuckled a few times, but for the most part it was just sweet, adorable, and a total joy to read.

I actually preferred the shortness of the chapters. I find long, winding chapters difficult and awkward to read, usually getting boring by the end of it. Well done to the author!
