Wow, that was pretty cold of Carrot Top in the opening, just dumping all of that guilt on Derpy like that.
This is going to be one of those fics that I'll keep quoting until people literally beat me over the head with bowling pins to get me to shut the hell up about it.
And I still won't stop.

Gave it a shot but I couldn't enjoy it, I just don't like Derpy.
It's very funny, yes, but stories that portray Derpy like this always leave me a bit off. But meh, HOT SAUCE.

Where in Equestria does this notion that Derpy lives with Carrot Top, and that she always cleans out her fridge, come from!? Nopony I ask seems to know. Was it fan-art? A fic? A comic? What inspired the idea?

1. I think there's almost sort of a Looney Tunes reference when Derpy says, "Let's shall." But it could be Derpy.

Don't worry, I'm not done with this yet. Since posting chapter 1 I've found myself buried in schoolwork and other obligations, which I supposed is my well-deserved punishment for taking on too many extracurricular activities. I'm overwhelmed and delighted by the great feedback you've all given me on this, and I'm so sorry for making you wait! Chapters 2 through 4 are in varying stages of completion at the moment and I hope to have them done and posted around the end of the month.
Funny thing is, I read this awesomeness right before watching the luna episode, so seeing Carrot and Derpy playing together at the apple bobbing game was a shock to my system. Felt like an uber reference to this story haha. I need my chapters man. Keep em comin'.

I'm not sure where the roommate thing comes from; I think it's just that the two are seen together fairly often in wide shots. The "I emptied your fridge" meme came from a comic that's been around for a while. I'm not sure, but I think the artist is Elosande; the comic is old enough that it uses Carrot Top's original fan nickname of "Carrot Cake."
Really hope to see this updated, there's a disturbing lack of Carrot/Derpy shinanigan fics :)
