Ponies make EVERYTHING better! Ponies can't possibly hurt anything. Some crossovers might not be a good idea for the non bronies. Some crossovers might not be a good idea for everyone. All crossovers are awful, I want my ponies as they are!

Nightmare Moon was the most competent/fleshed-out as a character, Gilda and Trixie were the most vindictive, Diamond Tiara was the most unlikeable, the parasprites were the most destructive, and Blueblood was the most hilarious. How am I supposed to pick just one?
Scratch my creativity poll. Ask the bronies 'For what reason do you select fanfics to read?' Ie: you chose it for the 5/6 star rating, the title, the description, characters, authors, etc.
I voted Nightmare Moon because for me Trixie is not an antagonist. Yes she IS obnoxious and smug and bragging and classy and all, but she didn't do ANYTHING 'antagonisty' apart from having the potential of becoming a great one with such personality :)

Therefore, a poll with 12 choices, starting with October and ending with September, would provide a unique opportunity to see the growth of the fandom over the past year. It would also be interesting to see what month spawned the most Bronies.
Doing this poll this month would be ideal, because you would not even need to include year numbers in the voting options.
Just a nitpick, but which dragon was in the poll? Yeh, I figure the red one from Dragonshy since the episode centered around him as a threat, but arguably he was pretty laid back compared to the green dragon in Owl's Well That Ends Well who was out for murder.

The cockatrice got way too few votes. I mean, he had already 'killed' Twilight by turning her to stone, was going to kill the CMC before Fluttershy stepped in and, in probably the greatest display of pony bad-ass, stared it down until it was a total submissive bitch AS IT WAS KILLING HER.
I think this poll was unfairly gray. NMM was a pretty great character as an antagonist, but Gilda was the best ANTAGONIST- she did it right, antagonists are supposed to make you dislike them.
I voted NMM because half of those aren't even really antagonists so far. I know an antagonist is very different from a villain, but I really don't feel like Trixie, Gilda, or Blueblood are antagonists.

I really like the polls that ask about the reader demographics. I know there have been several polls about gender and age, but maybe we could have more demographic polls...maybe for race or ethnic group/nationality/sexual orientation/income or education level, etc? I know at EqD those aren't as big a deal at other forums/communities, but I still think it's interesting to see the makeup of any community.
