The Applejack video was good. I really like the guy who does them. The amount of hate that Applejack gets did annoy me. It isn't her fault that her element sucks.
Also another Fluttershy-as-a-cephalopod plushy. Why are ponies with tentacles so adorable? And yes that includes the Slendermare. It just wants friends.

Pegasisters is the current push for what Female fans of the series want to be called. Probably because Bronies is sorta a Male Description, and not every fan is Male.
TIP ON THE DESKTOP PONIES! Make sure you click the button on the bottom left that says "Zero all ponies" cause if you immediately click the "Give me ponies" you get exactly what that means: ALL THE PONIES!
Want to buy the furry suit and stuff it so I can have a gigantic plush :D

It's not what Females WANT to be called, it's just a term that very few people try to force in to community. I know many females who prefer the term "brony". It will hopefully die out soon.

I wouldn't call shirts with ponies faces on the exactly "subtle."
The subtlest pony shirt I've seen is a grey t-shirt with some bubbles near the bottom on the side. (Think Derpy.)

@Ricochet Report well, in the case of the surprise party, people will generally agree that lying is the better/correct option instead of ruining it for everyone by telling the truth.
The thing I don't get is when he mentions AJ lying to the CMC, I don't recall her ever doing that. I assume it's somewhere in Showstoppers, but I don't remember her ever outright lying to them in it.

Oh, for Celestia's sake!
Instead of outwardly lying or spoiling the surprise, why not try stating the truth in an evasive manner? Why Pinkie Pie's friends couldn't just say "We are working on some secret project, but we want to keep it as a surprise to everypony, even you, and thus we'll be too busy to attend to your party"? That way, they could avoid the whole "Pinkamena" incident.
Would it really be that hard?
In that light, their poorly invented lying is nothing more than a forced plot device. Unless they're stupid enough to be unable to come up with something THAT simple.
What about AJ cheating in Fall Weather Friends? Or lying in Look Before You Sleep?
I still stick by "ponies" (or "fillies" if you want to be distinctive) as the female term.

Then you run into the same problem. "What is so secret that my friends don't want me, one of their best friends, to know about?" Even if she bought it everypony else had blatantly lied to her. She still would be saying that "it's all secrets and lies with those ponies". She's not an airhead like the CMC. She would start thinking about what sort of secret project would involve Sugar Cube Corner.
AJ's poor excuse for a lie gets Pinkie focused on how all her friends are lying to her instead of focusing on the lie itself. We also have to consider how unorganized the ponies were. They clearly never went so far as to come up with valid excuses. They were all made up on the spot. So I don't see why people expect AJ to come up with something better.
Now let's look at her lie itself.
Rainbow Dash just brought in some supplies for the renovation. Fixing up the whole thing top to bottom: True. This is not a lie. They are fixing up the place for the party.
Lots of construction going on in there: This is where she's starting to stretch it but it's still fairly honest. The party is being constructed. Streamers being placed up, balloons being filled, ect. It's definitely the weakest part of her story but she already went down that trail with what was a pretty honest excuse.
There wouldn't be a story if the writers gave the ponies good excuses. This is something that happens in real life. I expect perfectly executed surprise parties from mind numbing girls shows. Like G3 ponies. If there is no drama then where is the story?
If the writers avoided the whole "Pinkamena" incident there would be no character development. One of my favorite moments in the show wouldn't have happened because the writers didn't want AJ to be forced into a situation where she is wrestling with her element and her friendship. The character development is not limited to Pinkie. We know that AJ is capable of lying but she is horrible at it. We can easily see that she is struggling and that there is a battle going on inside her mind. It shows that there is a lot of depth to her character. She is a believable character. I would think much less of her if she couldn't lie.

'Pegasister'? That's twice now I've heard that; why does it have to be another term? At least when I say 'brony' people don't go "huh?". Other terms sound like 'we're brony, but just not THOSE brony' to me.
Using logic to 'lie without lying' seems like a stretch for a kids show. I know if I were a kid and a character did that, I would hate it.

There, even without the lie, the same problem would occur. Obviously the other 5 didn't have a planned story in the case that Pinkie showed up at the barn, so AJ was put on the spot. If anything, her terrible lying should prove that she's honest at heart, and that lying is incredibly hard for her to do.

I love the desktop ponies! I've taken to leaving one or two running around during my lectures. I actually met another Brony today that way, he recognized Derpy & Pinkie from one of the rows behind me. Wish I had a bigger screen so I could have all my favorites, 1x size, and the ability to see my stuff all at the same time, though.
