Rrgh. Can there be some sort of rule or guideline about not posting scene spoilers in the first few comments? This isn't the first time the surprise has been ruined for me because someone decided to make an early post advertising it. They're hard not to see!
This fandom is truly the greatest thing in the history of things. No, more – the production staff and their interaction with the fandom is the greatest thing in the history of things. We just had a silly fan meme actually animated – for real – by one of the artists who works on the show.
Think about that for a second. If your mind isn't blown by the time you're done, you're doing it wrong.
The changes are actually pretty interesting. The cloth's animation was more complicated in the rough cut. It looks better to me, but maybe it was too distracting? Even though the voice was changed, it sounds very similar to the rough cut. It's impressive that they bothered to re-record it just to get a minor improvement.
And yeah, the ending is awesome. I've never seen the creators interact with the fandom so closely.
I love the way the actual makers of the show throw this subtle little nods to the community. In case you didn't notice, there's a small reference to the Magneto thing by the end. If you look closely, you may see it. "Magneighto"... *snicker*
I just want you to know, that I had NO idea that Magneto was at the end when I sent the link to this, Seth. I'm not sure how many other people sent the link if they did...but...
Like, I totally didn't watch it before sending it, so that little Magneto bit was a surprise of win.
This right here is how the fan service to us bronies should be; Not interfering with what brought us to the show in the first place, but in clever side things like this and the commercials.

I now pause it after the first run through and try to see if I can remember, figure out, or just guess what was changed. Especially after hearing about how little time you and your co-workers have for each episode, I can only imagine how quick the turn around has to be, and how fast you have to find what needs to be fixed.
Also, speaking of taking very little time, WOW!! You always have humorous ending to these wonderful clips, but this one take the gigantic apple cake! I sure hope these clips are making it onto the DVDs as official extras!

I was expecting something funny, but I was NOT expecting Magneighto! The people making this show have just become 220% cooler than they already were.
