I have newfound respect for Celestia, being able to live with the knowledge that someday, she'll be the only living thing left on the planet besides maybe Luna and her phoenix, and no matter how much she may want to, she won't be able to quit, and has to live until the sun burns out.
I can't say I've felt that way in my life.

#5 Only Pinkie Pie can ride a creeper. Although, to be honest, the creeper looks kind of confused by the whole thing. Also, I would refuse to subject Fluttershys innocence to the depravity and decadence of the 80's. But, it is a very well done pic.

#2 Simple, but adorable nonetheless, and I really like the somewhat blurry effect on the shading; it lends a nice softness to it. I suppose it also helps that I'm rather biased towards Rarity, but I digress...

Traveling along/through the fourth wall isn't going to get those leaves down.
Rainbow Dash is fast, but can only travel in 3 dimensions.
Twilight Sparkle can make short hops through a higher dimension, but re-entering the third dimension causes burns if overused.
Pinkie Pie can "bend" the third dimension *into* a higher dimension (probably the fourth), similar to how you can bend a 2-dimensional piece of paper into a 3-dimensional shape.

#22 is great Matt, but it's so depressing. You can't blame ponies for not wanting to think about Celestia gradually dying alone on a dead world billions of years into the future.
And she is alone at this point; I read the commission text. Philomena passed away, Celestia's just so wrapped up in her fading memories that she didn't notice.
