'Discordantly' is truly magnificent, and a fine example of how we shouldn't worry too much about whether a comic or a fanfic follows the canon perfectly.
I have no idea what's going on in #2, I'm just gonna guess that Twilight thinks NMM is coming back.
I believe the first one IS a repost, BUT most likely because the guy that made it finished the comic arc. Also, would love to see more of that second's type of art style. =D

Those eyes on Spike scare me O_O Talk about Uncanny Valley. The rest of the comic is beautiful though, love the lighting.

I especially loved how it came full circle with the appreciation for beauty.
I really hope we see Discord again. This backstory is amazing and I really wish it could be canon. Discord is at once both a lovable character and one you love to hate. I really hope we get to look into his story more. If only Celestia and Luna's battle with him.
Very interesting backstory in #1, wouldn't mind it being canon.
#2 has a nice atmosphere, it really feels like it's the middle of the night.

It was attempted genocide of the Alicorns. He thought he had killed them all, but then Celestia and Luna showed up.
He might be a crappy unicorn, but he's an awesome artist.

The style of the first comic, those styles always feel slightly cheesy to me I guess. Maybe a bit over-the-top or dramatic. But even still, it's a very nice comic of course.
Second comic "to be continued". Oooh, cliffhanger. I wonder what she's writing to Celestia about. Since Spike mentioned Mare in the Moon, I'm guessing this will be about Discord. But the book cover "Cutie Mark Conundrum", makes me uncertain. Guess I'll have to wait and see. :)

The artist did conclude the story. And it's not really a repost: parts 5 and 6 weren't posted before. (Technically they haven't been posted now either, but part 1 has links to the next part.)
I'm a little hesitant about opening these... "every once in a while you come across a..." is the exact same phrase that was used to describe Spiderses... That was the worst beating my troll shields ever took. They were crumpled and charred, and the smell lingers to this day. *shudders*
The best villain’s backstory always makes you feel sorry for them, while making you understand that redemption is not a realistic option and they still need to be put down. This is one of them.
FINALLY Discordantly is on ED. I've been waiting for it to get here. Best fan comic for sure.
