Fluttershy: To Tree or not to Tree. That is the question!
I have two questions, one more about the fandom and one more about the show.
Bronies, quite a few of them have put up ideas that are just absolutely generous and selfless. One that comes to mind is a toy effort where fans who may not care for the toys could buy them and then donate them to goodwill, supporting the show and children who are less fortunate. With ideas like that being passed around quite a lot, could you see the Brony fandom becoming something more then just "those who like MLP:FiM" in the future (far or near, during or after the life of the show)? Almost an organization which does what it can to make the world a better place, all born from the ideas presented in FiM and embraced by the community.
My other question, more in line with the actual show, how long do you think the show could last? Some cartoons only make it about 40 episodes, while we have things like The Simpsons that seem to never end. Could FiM Last that long, or will it live out its course much sooner?

The effect fanon has on the show is already overwhelming. Do you think that the writers will try to build off of it, completely shun it, or just acknowledge that it's been said and done, and continue to write original material?
Second, should they accidentally trod on somebrony's hooves, do you think legal action would be taken? Even with love and tolerance being one of the show's themes?

I have something for discussion, and that is the creativity of fans in relationship to the scarcity of canon material. It seems that many great fan fictions, comics, and art seem to be created, out of which some of those,are made and enjoyed because we don't have that much canon material to work with as we have so long awaited season 2.
So, I'm eagerly awaiting season 2, but do you think that that will cause a slight decrease in the amount of art/fanfic/etc. or do you think it will only serve to spurn much more?
I'm hoping for the latter, btw.

Alright, here's a question: How do all of you feel about censorship in regards to fanart/fanfiction/etcetera? Right now Equestria Daily seems to have few hard and fast rules, I don't see any clopfic but the occasional saucy piece can be found. Typically you'd just hide saucy/plot-related pieces, but often it seems like you guys rely on fan feedback. The only thing is, is it right to listen to those offended by anything vaguely saucy? Shouldn't such a major aggregator as Equestria Daily try to pander - I mean accomodate - to as many bronies as reasonable? Do we need to encourage a PG community? Is it right for any of us to shun others while we ourselves partake in such a strange pastime to outsiders? Or is there just a line of decency to be drawn?

Ditzy Doo's squint and her job as a postmare are one indication for this and the fact that some of the fan favourite-ponies have speaking lines in the second season is only further proving his point.

I have a hard time accepting that there is no influence of the fans on the creators. Perhaps that's true for what episodes were already written before the fan explosion. Now creators, producers, the musical staff, and even just people working on the show in some way or another are interacting with, and giving nods to the fandom.
Clearly they're not being locked up in a room with no access to anything out here. Fan nodding has already changed some things to canon, even in season one. Will they bend themselves and write things that fans have created into the show? I doubt blatantly, but we can be sure to see things here and there.
My only question (yeah I finally got to that) that lingers on my mind in season 2 is: Mainly concerning one or two-shot characters, including our dear princess of the moon, if/when we see them return, how much do you think they may differ from what we've already assumed their characters will be like? Do you think, with all the fans interpretations, that their personas may be altered as a fan service?

Don't have well-thought out questions to ask so I'll write what comes first to mind.
Do you think there'll be more kick-flank action or fighting scenes or battles?(thinks back to Rarity kicking the manticore in the face) Or just more intense/suspence moments like the hydra thing.
I'd also liked to see an adventure episode or two where they go outside of Equestria like the dragon or griffon lands. If they don't do that I'd like to see some other town that have been mentioned but never seen. (Manehatten, Fillydelphia, etc)
Background pony episodes would be great to get to know them and establish them as characters more than just background decoration.
Only problem would be, like Luna, people might be disappointed if their view of a character is different in show.

Seriously, though, given the overall nature of the show -- being written for younger kids, that is -- what types of subjects and/or lessons do you think may be tackled in season 2? For instance, I personally would like to see some sibling rivalry introduced, but not as passive as Applejack's & Big McIntosh's "girdle" bet from ep.3. Perhaps a "stay out of my room!", "don't touch my stuff!", "quit buggin' me!" theme would make for a good lesson on tolerance and the love of family.

I'm probably out of luck for getting these answered since I'm posting it so late, but I'll give it a shot.
As far as something debate-worthy goes, I'd like to know what you think of the messages the show includes. In particular, I'm interested in your thoughts on these topics:
1) Which episode had your favorite moral, and why? Do you think any of the seemingly simple lessons had broader implications that would be useful for adults to learn as well as the kids it was written for?
2) Are there any episodes that had lessons that you disagreed with? Why? (Honestly not intending to cause fighting with this one)
3) Aside from morals for individual episodes, what messages do you think the show encompasses as a whole? Obviously friendship is one of the bigger ones, but what about the less obvious lessons, like the importance of individualism and following your passions? Why is it every time I click on an article on the bottom of the homepage, when I go back to the homepage I have to start from the top and go all the back down for the next article after the on I finished. (sorry for the technical question)
The mane six have the same body type and size because it's far easier to draw them that way. If they had unique body types, what would they look like? Would Fluttershy be gangly like her adolescent self? Would Pinkie be chubby from all the sweets she eats, or would her hyper antics keep her slim?
