Sapphire Shores Casting Call
An animation project is looking for someone who can voice Sapphire Shores (as well as sing). Have some copy paste:
I need a voice actress to play the role of Sapphire Shores, (as seen in A Dog And Pony Show.) Since this will be a MUSICAL production, the actress MUST be able to not only voice Sapphire Shores, but also SING as her. Something in the style of Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross... or Sweetie Belle, when she sang, "Hush Now, Quiet Now."
Interested applicants should e-mail me at badalamentink@gmail.com, with their name, acting portfolio, (if any) and a recorded sample of themselves trying out for the part of Sapphire Shores, both singing AND speaking, (although web links would be greatly preferred.) Again, I cannot stress this enough: if I do NOT hear you singing as Sapphire, you will NOT be considered for the role!

Someone has gone through the ruleset of Dungeons and Dragons 3rd edition and ponified it all. Sadly I've only ever played Infinity Engine games with the old D&D rules, so it's mainly voodoo to me, but some of you might get a kick out of it.

A Brony driving around with a cardboard cut-out of Twilight in the back of his truck mean we are slowly getting closer to getting a Pony float in a parade. That might be the only thing I haven't seen combined with ponies yet (except for blimps, but there is only about 20 of them in the world and they are pretty expensive to rent). I seen Pony cars, Pony boats, Pony planes, but no Pony floats.

Only 5 should be in the cube for 2 reasons: 1. One of the sides will not be shown leaving 1 pony unseen. 2. Twilight is separated already on a cut-out. (with an optional second character behind the Twilight cut-out in which I chose Trixie)
And yes it will take the world by storm. Especially if there was a meetup just to drive around with ponies on their cars.

Ooh, casting call for Sapphire Shores. I like her character design a bit. This would greatly interest me, if not only for the fact I stated just above. :(
I loved the promo video for the John Freeman Synchtube channel. Hilarious. And Ghost Busters, Brave Little Toaster and Gorillaz? I see they also have good taste. :)
I'm also loving the cardboard cutout someone put in the back of their truck, hah! Oh, I would love to see them driving around town with that propped up back there. Lmao. Priceless.
I would so get a snowcone from RD. I bet they're awesome. In fact, they are... *shifty eyes* 20% cooler than any of the competitions!

Why Sethisto, do you not have a cut-out of Trixie three times larger than the Twilight shown? Or maybe you do but you don't want people to know about it for the fear that they'd create a even bigger one for Fluttershy.

@Fly Amanita For those ponies on the east coast, it already is. Being three hours ahead means it's 7am here when it goes up, so I've got ponies waiting for me as soon as I get up.

I'm going to Chicago Comic Con, so that brony meetup is relevant to my interests...

Wasn't there a fanfic that was submitted recently that had this story/plot: Pinkie Pie attempts to kidnap Princess Luna with a silly trap (which works) while Princess Celestia and her new protegee Dewdrop Dazzle watch (much to Dewdrop's shock when she realizes that the guards don't respond very quickly). I definitely remember something about Taffy about it...
Anything ring a bell? I hope I'm not going crazy from ponies yet. It's too soon, too much to live for you know?

That analysis was neat, but... am I the only one that was a little miffed at the portrayal of "rich white males" as the villains of society? Come on. It's greedy people, of all descriptions, who are the villains. Quit using the evil white man thing; it's old.

@Star WhistleTheir flight speed is a huge advantage even with only average maneuverability, as any mid-level wizard will tell you.
