Who say's you have to use alchohol for something like this?
I say use prune juice and make the cards try and force you to drink it... no that's still too evil.
How about taking a sip of fruit juice of your choice everytime you have too? (I'd be drinking Cranberry Pomegranate juice all night and it'd actually be good for me. Plus it wouldn't get me drunk and I've never actually drank anything that would intoxicate me.)
That would dramatize the target demographic, though...
for those who dont drink alcohol why not just replace it with something more hardcore like milk or cinnamon...or if your a bad enough dude both of them, youll
be having a bunch of people throwing up and/or coughing

I've never touched a alchoholic beverage but coca-cola and some soft drinks actually have an alchoholic based effect on me.
It's entirely depending on their caffeine loadouts.
In excample, I can't drink Mountain Dew without getting violently sick.
I am not old enough to drink alcohol, so I will get some Dr. Pepper, put the Gummy cola thing on it, and be up all night.

Is there a good way to do this kind of social game so that it doesn't involve alcohol, but isn't then restrained by cheap replacement drinks, removing a good part of the purpose of playing it?

What, Ethanol isn't your favorite? Not to be a jerk, but I'm pretty sure no one likes the taste of alcohol, which is why only idiots actually drink straight everclear, why beer only contains 4-9% alcohol, and why cocktails are also referred to as mixed drinks.
Maybe my experiences were different than most others', but this game seems no worse than 90% of the drinking games I've ever partaken in, except that it DOES involve ponies, which I suppose is a fact that should not be discounted. Bottoms up, I say!

@Anonymous, Actually, some people are extraordinarily sensitive to the taste of alcohol. I can taste it in stuff as weak as wine (overpowering the good flavors of wine), but I can drink porter beers fine (due to the stronger taste of the beer). Of course, I also wouldn't play a drinking game because I drink expensive beer, and couldn't choke down Pabst for it.
We usually always drink mixed drinks for this; beer is alright but too filling or distasteful for most people. That being said there are some cards that explicitly call for shots.
I'll update the download so it has the rules cards in there since not everyone knows the rules.. :P
