Once again FiM completely throws that idea out the window. Maybe it's another reason why it's so amazing? The Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity all worked on season two doing layout/posing (Holding back my envy right now), and Pinkie Pie is friends with the Fluttershy (even more envy).
They also dragged someone along who dressed up as Spike. Apparently hes a professional break dancer or something!
They wanted me to let everyone know that they love the fans, and they will be scanning the comments so feel free to send them ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF PRAISE!

I do believe this is why this show is amazing. They are fans of their own work. It's not just a paycheck to them; it is something that they love and are proud of. It makes me happy to see that they put so much effort into something that could of just been a series of poorly animated and scripted 22-minute toy commercials for Hasbro. But, instead, it is a wonderful cartoon (arguably the best out there) that has brought forth one of the best fan communities I could ever be a part of.
So, if one of you guys working on FiM reads this, I just want you to know I am ever thankful for the work you do, and I hope you guys never loose the touch that makes this show awesome. You guys are amazing.

I really think that your (ye who work on FiM) enthusiasm for the show is one of the most important things that contribute to how great it is. I don't think I'll ever get a better chance to try and say something to the animators, but I can't thank you enough for helping this show come to fruition. As an animation student, MLP was an incredibly unexpected but very necessary pick me up when I was struggling under my animation course work, and it completely revitalized my dedication to animating. Honestly, my dream job at this point would be working on MLP, but I've got a long way to go until I graduate and I'm not gonna assume that an opportunity there will be available, but, whatever it is that I end up doing in the future, I hope that it can amount to even a fraction of this show: in quality, inspiration, ideals, and, of course, entertainment.
Again, just thank you so much.

I was the Applejack of that group. I just wanted to say thanks for all the love!!! The gal dressed as Rarity and I also animated on season 1. Now I'm doing key laout for season 2. As we speak I am setting up a Applejack scene :) I can't wait till season 2 airs. Everyone has been waiting very patiently and I hope we don't disappoint. (I keep geeking out over the new eps so I think that's a good sign)

Usually i'm against going overcore with the cosplays but seeing that you got even the tiniest details shows just how much you care about the show
Keep on rocking with the fluent animation, detail on the mane & tail, the many facial expressions within a few seconds and wing flaps and rainbow's constant flying, can't imagine how it would of been if Pinkie Pie got wings too
Also i was just wondering who exactly did the flowing hair for Celestia and Nightmare Moon? And how time consuming is it? I was asking myself, how much time would an episode take, if all the manes and tails of each pony were to be animated

Watching MLP: FiM has actually gotten me more interested in learning animation for cartoons. At the moment, all I can say for sure is that I wanna be an animator of some sort, be it 2D, 3D, video games, film or television.
However I now have a greater appreciation and attraction to the process of making cartoons. So yeah, y'all kewl.

Everyone at Cos&Effect was asking where Rainbow Dash was but no one seemed to care about Twilight :( It was kind of last min at least for me (I skipped the ears, no time to make them) so we just got who we could. Maybe another time. "Random guy" as Spike is actually NOT mexican haha and he works at the same studio with us.
And animating PC and NMM's main and tail for 22 full minutes wouldn't be too hard because you could just make a cycle and loop it! (as long as they don't move too much) haha but yes animating the ponies and their hair and everything is tricky. Animation is a very time consuming art form but I love it!

But they're costumes though are pretty nice as well. I think I like that stlye of cosplay for non ponies ( aka humans ) to use because it's simple and it looks good IMO over all.

It's at times like these when I take a step back, survey the situation, and realize:
We are an odd group of people.
OH haha sorry I got the orange shirt at Urban behaviour for $4 it's actually a tub top but you can't tell because it's under my vest which I got ages ago at Urban Outfitters (I think the brand is called Silence & Noise). The jeans and boots I also already had. I painted the apples on the orange shirt using acrylic paint. I'm not sure it if will make it through the wash okay because I didn't have time to get fabric paint. The wig I borrowed from "Rarity" and she also picked me up the hat from Michael's craft store, it was only $6. I had to heat mold the sides to stay up like that and cut the half circle out of the front. All in all it was the most simplistic cosplay I have done to date. Also one of the most fun ones to run around in. We got lots of hugs at the con ^__^
