We didn't really have stuff like this a year ago. The only social experience available was on our various message boards/chans across the internet.
I'm pretty excited about the prospects of watching a new episode and seeing all the reactions in person for once. So much so that I already booked a flight to New York for BronyCon, which takes place right on top of Episode two.

I so wish I could attend Bronycon. But I'm afraid that's pretty unlikely to happen. Sad Octavia is sad.
There's really so many Brony meets starting up. It's quite cool. Though there doesn't seem to be any around where I'm planning to move to. All the more reason for me to start one of my own though. If there's enough Bronies around to attend it anyway. I had so much fun at Chef Sandy's in Dallas I'd love to attend more Brony meets.

Just throwing that out there, so that people know what they need to goto too get some information with each meetup.

The GREAT and POWERFUL Trevor laments that nothing is closer to Central Illinois, but is grateful that it is only a few hours away! Maybe He'll be able to go during a break or something! (Yeah right. The G&P Trevor is flat broke... Oh well. Maybe it'll move closer as time wears on! 8D)
Also, Trevor would like to argue that a certain Prof. one has is ALMOST as awesome as Cheerilee! Like, he would only need another 2%. He is THAT awesome! (But the G&P Trevor still laments not being able to have Prof. Cheerilee...)
I'd like to hit the BronyCon in NY, but I'm not suer if I could set things up fast enough and may not have enough money to support being able to go. I'm still a little low from Otakon sadly...

@Sapphire There is no locals discount. The cost of admission goes to [partially] cover the venue fee, food, prizes, and how much it costs to fly in Guests of Honour and pay for their hotel bills. Those all cost exactly the same for out-of-towners as for locals, I'm afraid.
