This is shaping out to be quite interesting; and I would love to find out more about this 'Terra' figure, as well as what happened to the Princesses' rule in future chapters.

OC - Original Character. That is, somepony the author/artist created and who isn't in the show.

from the description it sounds like it has its base in the warhammer universe. grimdark, gritty, violent, sad. This terra is probably Celestia by another name. Either that or Luna took over the responsibility for the Day as her sister passed. Who knows. I'll have to read this for real eventually.

HAVE we actually had a Warhammer 40k crossover? I mean, seeing how much we seem to like fitting ponies with the most egregious things possible, I'd be kind of surprised if we didn't.

I was skeptical starting, but I have to admit that I've been hooked. There seems to be plenty of interesting things waiting in the world. I can't wait to hear more.

Personally I'd say it's because this story does a pretty good job of living up to the grimdark tag as well as focusing entirely on OC ponies instead of the Mane cast. It's a good story but it probably won't get much attention because of these reasons, unfortunately.

This is a damn good story. Vopogon is right, this is better written than most of the crap that gets on here, and it has like no attention.

This morning when I came to check up on the updates of the stories that i am following at the moment. I was everything but hopeful to see an update but when i saw that this story was updated it made me feel like a pony who just got his cutie mark by protecting Sugar Cube Corner from Diamond Dogs who where trying to break in for the rock candy. And after got a big bag filled with candy and a party from none other than Pinky Pie joined by the 5 other Main 6 and the Princesses. All summed up this was my reaction

Oh man, its nice to know that this story isn't dead. One thing I do have to ask, though, are there going to be any Ork (Hogz?) or Eldar (Deer?)equivalents? With the introduction of techpriest Ironside I just gotta wonder what else is going to pop up.
The techpriest is just a subsidiary of my uncreative nature when it comes to inventing names. While this was influenced by Warhammer 40,000 somewhat, it is not a crossover and has no correlation to Warhammer 40,000. I will tell you this now though, you are in for a lot of surprises in future chapters if you keep reading. I plan on keeping this going for a long time.

"Ragnorok" - Skyrim reference? Either that or Norse mythology, which Skyrim has a large amount of references to. Except, you know, the whole "a cow created the gods by licking ice" thing...
