Sparkle World Magazine!

Remember a year ago when you would have scoffed at how ridiculous something like this is while walking by at the supermarket?  How you would never buy one of these for yourself in a million years?

Confound these ponies...

Anyway, inside this exceedingly girly peice of "literature", you will find an entire workbook dedicated to ponies, including 75 stickers to cover your laptop in, and a fold out Celestia.

More pictures after the break! Thanks to Carraig for the news!

Kallik Russel said...

I really dont like to vectors they keep using....

Narwhals' Bend said...

Why are the pony vectors used in these things always look deformed when compared to the show? I mean, look at the last picture there...

>fold out Celestia.

Even if I didn't need groceries I would go out of my way to stop by the grocery store and buy these stickers

Anonymous said...

Mmmmm... Centerfold Celestia!

>Rarity gets a whole row of stickers just for her name

As she should. Glad some merch gets it.

Also,

"THERE! IS THAT CELESTIA WHITE ENOUGH FOR YOU?!"

Tricane said...

I kinda want those stickers now...
Also, does the Rainbow Dash one really say "Fab!"?

So true...
And now I'd become excited and buy them before someone else does.
What has become of me!

"Pull out and have fun."
Same thing my mom said to me before I went to college...

I have a four year-old sister. What does that mean?

An excuse to get two.

Ditzy Derp said...

Confound these ponies indeed! When shortly ago i would scoff at this now i would buy em without hesitation

Narwhals' Bend said...

I would not but this unless it was full of pictures of Luna.

Anonymous said...

What's with the numbers? It looks like it's supposed to be multiples of two and multiples of three, but then shouldn't the 14 be 15?

Anonymous said...

@Tricane

FFFFFFFFF-I hate that song. WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!

I think I've seen this magazine in a bookstore near where I work before!

I'm not 100% sure it was this magazazine, I've never been bothered to check that section where it would be. But now, I'm very, very tempted to see if it was the magazine I've been seeing!

*prays it is and hopes it's available when I check tomorrow!*

Is that a Rainbow Dash cupcake?

I bought this a few day's ago, my first MLP FIM related buy. I was thinking of scanning the workbook in, although I doubt many will find the activities particularly challenging...

Anonymous said...

>75 stickers
DO WANT!

Anonymous said...

Heh. Cute stickers. Which probably will never pop up here in Sweden anytime soon.

SoulSilver IV said...

My first MLP:FiM buy, alongside the Pony pasta tins!

For anyone who is interested, I found these items in Asda (a UK supermarket). Although I'm pretty sure you'd be able to find the magazine in other supermarkets or retailers like WHSmiths. :)

The blank look in Spike's eyes...

Anonymous said...

Well, at least I can purchase this along with something like Hustler to confuse the clerk.

@SoulSilver IV
UK... Damn.

I have last month's Sparkle mag for the colouring pages. Nice to see how cool this month's is going to be :D

YAY STICKERS!!!!!! i so want this!

Sadly, my poverty-fueled lukewarm attitude towards merchandise in general remains steadfast.

pinkie only gets two stickers (by herself)? what is this madness?

Blur said...

Where cam I buy these? I only have a Raley's nearby.

Anonymous said...

Show your TRUE manliness and subscribe to this mag!!! Get it monthly on your door step and be a true Brony!

eaglehooves said...

Does anyone know if/where you can get one of these in the states? I just made a run to Target and Toys R Us earlier today and didn't find anything good. In fact, every Toys R Us in the area is sold out of Pinkie Pie plushies till August, and my local Target seems to be holding the Canterlot stuff till then as well. At least I got my Celestia notepad, but I'm starting to run out of excuses to borrow the car to look for stuff.

NEED. WANT. MUST HAVE. NEED.

Anonymous said...

I suppose for bronies who really want it but too afraid what the person at the checkout stand will say...

this is what supermarkets with self-checkout machines are for?

Anonymous said...

Nuuuuuuu!
Somepony else said 'Princess Celestia Center-fold' first :/
And yes, the #16 is very strange, should be 15 indeed.

ProfesorRod said...

I'm desiring those stickers.

Oh, Ponies! What have you done to me?

Luna said...

Call me when it's all pony, on 290+ pages, with exclusive stories and comics, ten pages of unique colored art and not hidden away in Merry Ol' England or somewhere else sodding Brits are the only ones who get it.
Then we'll talk lifetime-subscription.

Anonymous said...

I would never buy this....*WANTS*

Anonymous said...

@Lina:

waits for Beckett Pony.

wait does the Beckett magazines even still exist?

Anonymous said...

Mind numbingly cute, except the random inclusion of the word SHOP in the stickers. Like the designers/marketers said, um, this is aimed at little girls, don't forget to train them early that consuming is a hobby fundamental to their identity! I'm sorry, designers, shopping has had not one iota of feature in the cartoon's plot!

That said...I want pony stickers...

Anonymous said...

They have these in the UK aswell.

Anonymous said...

@Anonymous

I think "shop" goes with "sweet", as in "Sweet Shop".

Fall said...

or people wondering about the numbered stickers, they're intended to be used on the mathematical tasks in the workbook so they don't need every number.

I bought this because it's the first piece of Pony stuff that's been released in Ireland. I don't plan to get everything, but I thought it'd be nice to keep the first thing as a memento (and it's dated, which is a bonus).

Anonymous said...

Those stickers are fucking shit tier.

Bartekko said...

what, another Girls magazi......... STICKERS?????
DO DO DO DO Do DO DO dO dO waNT in EUROPE NAOW

Madnath said...

Its a full workbook. And I said I would scan the full workbook. So I will scan the full workbook.

Firleycat said...

I'm still trying to work up the courage to buy this, but every place I find it in is in a area when I know quite a few people who will ask some very awkward questions if I do. I just got to man up and do it, This is the first bit of pony merch in Ireland and I must not let it slip by.

Anonymous said...

@SoulSilver IV
UK... Hell yes!
Now I'm sad because I passed the opportunity to go to ASDA with my mum last night.

FunkWizard said...

@Firleycat
Man up, I'm the guy who bought and took the pictures. I bought this while cruising with a bro and 2 girls I was looking into, and I was on a first name basis with everyone at the cash registers

Mister Ian said...

@SoulSilver IV

Your comment made me run half a mile. Specifically, half a mile to the nearest ASDA store, where I realised I'd forgotten my wallet in my haste to get stickers.

In total, I ran a mile and a half. I've never run a mile and a half before. And I did it in ten minutes flat.

CONFOUND THESE PONIES, THEY DRIVE ME TO EXCERCISE

acousticbrony said...

Haha I have the workbook and stickers in my hand as I type this.

Buster said...

I wonder if this is available in Tesco in the UK?

Anonymous said...

Can they shy away from the generic MLP G4 vectors please? Those poses are so fake.

Anonymous said...

Is this still on shelves?

Anonymous said...

@Anonymous

In America? Is it?

Anonymous said...

Lol, I just ordered this..

Anonymous said...

This mag's available at Barnes and Noble in the states, seems they carry a few mags from the UK.

Hereward said...

What's really awkward is when you see it on the shelf and you think 'There's MLP:FiM material in there' but you daren't even pick it up let alone buy it because of all the people around.

What I'm getting at is: Is there a Sparkle World website that you can check out old issues on?
