These crazy bronies traveled 17 kilometers over lakes, across muddy fields, and straight through the night, all for Mcdonalds pony toys. This video is a slideshow of their adventure!
Also some footage from the Nor Cal brony meetup, where they also search various locations for ponies. It's a bit less epic than the one above, but still pretty funny to see 20 people in the pink isle at Toys R' Us

You are despicable Anon.
About the 1st video... why make an epic travel and take 253 pics... if then you don't show your face? ¬¬
Those *are* crazy to travel that far for McDonald ponies, but by God do I salute them! *rainbowdashsalute.jpeg*
Dat pony isle.
I wanna go on an epic pony trek now.
Like for kilometres upon miles upon light-years.
Wow. Tha'ts all... Wow.
There's dedication, then there's just fucking obsession, and that first video is obsession. You know what, we're all destined to become like the final remaining Bronies on /b/, where their average post looks like something an eight year old girl has written. It's inevitable, us Bronies are going to go from being silly, to being the laughing stalk of the internet. We're all losing touch with our roots. Didn't the fandom start because of a raid on /b/ by /co/? I say we go back to those original root!
the guys from the first video are pretty cool
yeah
and i wish i could go to a brony meetup
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
If a fandom doesn't evolve it eventually dies deal with it.
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
It looked pretty fun actually.
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
Dude, they could easily have taken a cab or gotten a lift 17km, it's just a fun thing to do.
That first one sounds almost like "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle"!
@Anonymous
Already Nu Brony
17km? NAYC!
Every year a friend and I head into a clearing in the woods after midnight to watch the Perseid meteor shower. And it's partially about finding somewhere clear to watch the comets, but it's way more about just hanging out for a few hours late at night in a field, listening to music and talking.
Ponies just gave a reason for an adventure, they weren't really the adventure. It looked like a lot of fun, respect to those guys.
@Sethisto
Oh hai guy who runs this site.
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
And dude... Where i live exists an old saying:
"Po muci se poznaju junaci!"
Translated to:
"Heroes are known by their suffering!"
So, they are pretty much HEROES!
I love this community. I can't wait for you guys to get as big as Adult Fans of Lego. Then, I'll be in my element. Meetups that number the hundreds, massive conventions that attract 10's of thousands of fans and non-fans.
One day, my two obsessions will rival one another. And then, I can built a Fluttershy out of LEGO.
That's me holding the iPhone with the headphhones around the neck! :-D
That was such an awesome meetup. This video makes me wonder if I should still do the writeup for it now, since it seems to pretty much sum it up!
Will definitely need to get more apparel before the next meetup!
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
Dude, it was 17 km, if I wanted to I could walk that distance and back in a day if I was serious about it. They definitely just did it for the heck of it and for some fun camping.
@markocezar
Yes, what Brave heroes, instead of using there time to do something to help society, they go to McDonalds to get pony toys.
I love walking! Looks like you guys had so much fun! It is good to see I am not the only one who enjoys tromping through the countryside!
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony Get over yourself. They took a hike than involved ponies. They could have taken a car but no, They said hey lets make an adventure about it. And as a person who loves the outdoors I commend them. Looks like that they had fun too.
There is now a video of me singing Giggle at the Ghostie on the Internet. This is amazing.
Life can be an adventure if you make it one, and they made it one hell of an adventure!
@crazyredemu
Blame it on the one with iPhone ;-)
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
Okay, I don't see them as heroes either, but it's my opinion. You have yours too. That's fine.
It's another thing however, to put them down for it and insult it for being a waste of life when they could have been helping society.
I'm sorry that we don't do things to help society 24/7. I'm pretty sure that people spend way more time doing worse things than camping and buying pony merchandise.
Wow that last video was amazing! That looks like a ton of fun, those guys and their friendship, trekking miles to acquire the McDonald's ponies (I would totally do the same)
Good on you super bronies!
I just love this!
It makes me feel lonely though, being the only brony in my neighborhood :P
@Fallin' Winter
But still, it's not very productive, it just seems like something they did just to get cheap laughs.
By the way, how many Bronies drink Pabst Blue Ribbon beer?
*Sigh* I don't think we should go back to out roots if you mean porn and gore and cp. But we certainly could learn a lesson in anti-paraspriting from 4chan. Everyone here (Including Sethisto and myself) got parasprited by this Mustang Man. Pathetic.
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
Debating with others in the comment section of an internet blog isn't very productive either, bro.
Just sayin'
@Anonymous
He's not really a parasprite, just an opinionated person. He's been here before a number of times.
@Anonymous
I found out that the whole "Love and Tolerance" strategy is a Romanticized myth. They used to deal with Trolls on 4chan the old fashioned way, they Troll'd em back.
@Oleetar
But it's not a productive way to spend amost two days.
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
Well, okay. What productive ways have you helped society this week?
@Oleetar
I gave blood two days ago.
Everypony is free to spend their time however they wish.
You are currently using it to annoy and try to force your ideals of how to spend one's time upon others and berate those who decided to be environmental and go on a search for ponies the way ponies would: hoof it.
If you don't agree with their rhyme and reason, then don't go on a journey. Sit in your house, in front of a computer and try to insult the ones who had an adventure.
Oh mieu. I didn't know there are these active meet-ups and wow those run so well! To bad i'm at the "Pomona, CA" area, but the closest target may take 2-3 hrs. a walk. e.e But if there are meet-ups there, then i'd be a happy Brony/Filly...
Anyway nice vids! Makes me giddy like Pinkie Pie~
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
Ok so a hike that took two days, got them some exercise, some fresh air, and some awesome ponies is bad? They have the rest of the week to do something productive. This was probably their weekend and they should do what they want. You are just complaining about absolutley nothing.
Argh I want a brony meetup in Minnesota!!
>Love and Tolerance is a myth
>/b/ronies trolled trolls the old-fashioned way
Sorry, but I'm calling you out on that. The Love and Tolerance strategy became the best and preferred measure against the trolling against the threads on /b/. "Old-fashioned trolling" was phased out long before I even started lurking the threads in early February.
In actual fact, the Love and Tolerance strategy was so effective, that it probably contributed to the banning of pony on 4chan - since a bunch of the trolls, realising their only weapon was useless, decided to go whine at the moderators until the mods lost their cool.
Oh, and contribute to society, you say? Yet you want us all to migrate back to /b/? /b/ is responsible for a lot of destruction and harm being caused to society. You can't demand that we contribute to society and then go home and head for a website that attacks society for the lulz.
You're not cynical, you're braindead, there's a difference.
@Dave Mustang, the cynical Brony
Screenshot or it didn't happen. :P
Dace Mustang. Wtf is your problem? There's nothing wrong with hiking for ponies. Anon is right. You are just plain braindead, not cynical.
I'm surprised you lot got trolled so badly by the mustang guy. lol.
That seems funny.
