Ponies Around the World Round 3

Why do ponies in clothes look so... yah, I wont go there.

Anyway!  Ponies around the world Round 3 is here!  Still 109 emails to go, so I'm guessing we are about halfway finished.

I've been doing some research on backpacking across Europe, and a few of you have sent me emails with advice.  I'm still trying to decide on the best time of the year to do.  It sounds like Summer is packed, and Winter is freezing, does that make Spring/Fall the best time to head over?

Gotta keep digging!

You can find previous roundes here:

Ponies... ponies everywhere. Such wonderful madness!

For #41 (at Salem), I feel like Trixie or Twi would look better there. But hey, good on the photographer for the shot!

Wait, I could have sworn that the first round took like an entire month, and then this one took like 2 days?

@KShrike
This is still the first PATW - Seth is just posting all the submissions in 'rounds' or parts if you will :)

Ponies Around the World really is my favorite part of the day. I mean Kazakhstan, Australia, Russia, the Philippines? I dream of going around the world to these places, and there's already ponies waiting there for me.
Rarity in #3 on the beach is just an amazing photo by the way. I feel like she should be in a magazine advertising some pony bathing suit or perfume...
Hello to everpony, EVERYWHERE, and I love all of you.

Damnit Sethisto, keep those comments in your head where they belong.

Nuu Seth you posted the one without the caption! (#20, even if it's kind of a generic caption)

I'm surprised by the lack of people wearing Guy Fawkes masks with their ponies.

I must admit, #3 proves Rarity looks good on the beach. That's not saying she doesn't look good everywhere else, heh.

Wow, there are bronies in Rockhampton?

Dammit, there seem to be all of 5 in Brisbane (a capital city) and there's ones in Rockhampton?

Anonymous said...

I approve of the air force academy pics! Also I plan on getting Fluttershy to the top of Pikes Peak soon! This is fun!

Tenía la misma idea, sacar una foto de Twilight al frente de La Moneda, pero llegó la deadline. ;_;

Y para los que preguntaban dónde encontrar: Están en los Lider y aparecieron hace poco en los Jumbo.

There is an unforgivable lack of Ditch bronies. I must correct this!

Tomorrow morning I will purchase for myself a My Little Pony and pose it in front of a landmark in The Hague!

This has been such an awesome event, it's so great to see so many bronies finding out about other bronies in their area. Not to mention the sheer amount of diverse places we're lurking, all around the planet.

Can't wait for mine to show up!

Hatchuu said...

Yes, Perth and Melbourne Bronies! <3

Anonymous said...

Oh god. My future commanders at the Air Force Academy may be bronies.

This is scary and awesome.

Dam 57 stole my idea. Perfect time to do it to during the stampede.

Andrew said...

Man, I totally should have taken my Twilight Sparkle plushie on a trip to do something like this, just so Washington state could be represented a little more.

ph00tbag said...

Hey, it's a Raleigh brony!

Derpy Hooves said...

lol Twilight and Derpy in Trixie's hat and cape. <3

Even more totally awesome places. If I had the money, these photos would have SO made me go backpacking across Europe of such too by now. Seriously. I was born in Germany, but my family moved to the US when I was little. I'd really love to go back and check it out sometime. Only thing I know about backpacking across Europe is it's certainly more costly than I can afford. lol

Brohoof to the San Diego bronies, I thought I was alone here. Great idea using the zoo and garden, makes me wish I participated.

Prince Hoshito had some more ideas and a few extra pictures but they didn't turn out quite as well as expected. He tends to wonder just how many SD Bronies are out there.

@Anonymous

Massive and unfortunate typos in last post. Damn 3 AM. Anyways, there are pilots flying the best jets in the AF right now who are bronies; we attract all sorts!

Also, Rainbow Dash's personality is so stereotypically fighter pilot, it makes me laugh. She would go to USAFA wanting to be Thunderbird 5.

Anonymous said...

*GASP* Huntington Beach brony?! What is this madness?

Heck, we should have an Orange County meetup!

Anonymous said...

This even is simply divine. I hope there is going to be round 2 for those who missed it.

#35? OH GAWD how could I overlook that?

By the way, about pony merch, I found some at Megamall just a while ago. just a heads up.

At least I'm proud that Im not alone here.

@Anonymous

#3 Photographer here.

Yeah, an Orange County meetup would be doable if there was the interest. I work at a video production comany and I've got access to an empty building at work, I could drag out one of the projectors and make it a brony movie night.

Hell, maybe we could get the greenscreen set up and do something creative. Brony adventure in Equestria?

Anonymous said...

I bought myself an Applejack, but the weather was really bad today which kept me from taking pictures. When I do, would I still be allowed to send it it, though?

Anonymous said...

NC State! I live like 20 min. from there!

Fall said...

I've been to Warsaw too! That's Fall 3, World 169. C'mon, Irish bronies, surely there was ONE plastic pony to photo on this island!?

Sonic Rainboom custom Rainbow Dash got 20% cooler when i realized I only live 2 hours away from such awesomeness!!! My pics haven't made it up yet, but awesome to see MN represented! My secret but fun pleasure at the Mall of America is the log ride... Umm... There's probably a pretty bad joke in there somewhere, but whatever.
