I figured I was just over-reacting like usual (I tend to get excited about weird things), so I sent it to my normal "dude this is stupid" evaluators Cereal, and Speckles (You don't know her), and amazingly enough, I got a "woah", and "Daww" back!
It's not a 100% match, but is pretty close!

I REALLY like this.
It kinda sucks. The music is good, but if the video creator was going for any kind of lip synching they botched it royally. It looks less like an amv and more like a smattering of clips someone tossed together.
The quality isn't consistent either. They've got low quality hub clips tossed in. It basically shows no effort of control on the part of the creator. Whether that was because the editing program they used was limited in what it could do or simply due to inexperience on the creator's part.
It's terribly boring as well. The scenes used don't seem to have anything remotely to do with the song other than that they contain Fluttershy and the vocalist shares a vague audible match to the character.
Overall, I've seen much better and after watching it I fail to see why there's such fawning over it. Other than, of course, that it contains Fluttershy and that's all people really care about.
What makes it even better is it's EXACTLY the sort of song Fluttershy would sing: "We don't need to go on adventures, we don't even need to talk. Let's just be with each other and enjoy each others' company."
There's an English version of the Gurren Lagann theme, Sorairo Days, that actually sounds like Fluttershy or Pinkie Pie singing it.
Yeah, does sound a bit like her. I hardly see the PMV as being "amazing", though. There's a lot of extreme zooming and really inconsistent picture quality and I think I noticed some stretching at a point or two. I mean, it's not too bad, but it's far from amazing.
Oh sure, The PMV is bad, but the song fits Fluttershy brilliantly, even if the singer didn't sound like her, too.

Also, this PMV maker was featured before for a Pinkie Pie AMV, and I'd say that one was better quality than this one. Not necessarily for the quality of the clips (chick is still a beginner), but there was a decent sense of timing in it. Also, bonus points for actually making me actually sort of possibly like Forever The Sickest Kids. Confound these PMV makers!

I have to say that I don't hear the similarity in voices. I know that they wouldn't actually attempt this in an actual music recording, but without her saying most of her words that get quiet as they end doesn't feel right. It's hard to explain speech patterns-.-

To me, that implies that the PMV is apparently amazing, but that isn't the reason it's shocking. The intended meaning is that the quality of the PMV doesn't matter, and that the viewer should pay attention to the voice instead.

Ehhhhh no. Just because a singer's voice is airy doesn't mean it's a yellow Pegasus behind the mic. That's the only reason it sounded like Fluttershy to me, and it was close. No cigar, though.

Yeah, I don't hear Fluttershy at all. Alls I hear is a breathy voice with heavy electronic overtones. Much like Owl City, I don't know if the electronic sound of the voice is supposed to be "artistic" or if it's just to fix a bad voice. Either way, I don't much care for it.
