Forbidden Planet Stocks Ponies
A store over in New York that usually specializes in Geek culture merchandise has started stocking Friendship is magic stuff! Looks like we are creeping even further into the mainstream. Forbidden Planet is known for following all sorts of nerdy trends, be it Star Wars or Doctor Who. The fact that My Little Pony is worthy of cultural status outside of Know Your Meme is pretty huge.

Blind Bag Boxes Come with One of Each Pony
Apparently the actual boxes for the blind bag ponies don't come mixed like traditional "blind" style collectables (Trading cards, pogs, ect). Each box comes with exactly 1 of each of the 24 ponies. I guess this could be useful for you collectors out there!You can also find the fronts/backs of the cards included with every single character here!

Sounds like my pony folder... hell the number of images uploaded to this site alone has already broken 8k. You ponies and your drawing! Madness I say! There was a pretty massive boost thanks to the training grounds though.
Official Pony Fair
Tomorrow is the day of the official My Little Pony Fair at the Hasbro Headquarters in (on? Its a state, does it cheat?! I dunno!) Rhode Island. Apparently there are a whole bunch of bronies attending this one. I know three personally who were on their way over there today. Hopefully you guys can dig up some neat news for me to post!

The Newly named Q&Neigh earlier was pretty ridiculously successful! Almost too much so. I wasn't ready for that, at all.
Next time I'll have a template ready to drop things into. Sorry about the chaos of it. Either Cereal or Phoe are up to bat for the next one. I haven't seen Tek on in a few days, so no telling when he will do one! He does that though, crazy Tek. I thought he died last time! Pretty scary!

1) Trixie is the third-worst character, not the best.
2) If you think that's a terrible effect to have, you've never played magic and should refrain from commenting on things in which you have no experience.

If you think that is a good effect, then you clearly haven't played magic at any sort of competitive level. It is just win more, it won't actually win games unless you are already winning and in control. Especially when there is mindlaver which does the exact same thing without the mana restrictions and for 4 colorless less to activate the ability.

And I'm pretty sure an 8 mana effect on a 2/2 creature that already cost 6 mana to play is overboard. Almost every competitive deck in the game could deal with that in some way.
Maybe I'm just missing something because I'm tired, but I can't find the pony stuff on Forbidden Planet.

The DnD articles were pretty interesting. They did match the characters very well. I like the thought of Rarity being a secret rogue.
Any brony going to that fair, or any event actually, remember the rules of successful outdoor bronydom:
1: dont be creepy
2: good manners at all times
3: not everyone likes FiM as much as you, relax and let it slide.
4: srsly, don't be creepy

I love the Ask Applebloom blog, the pic of her writing an abusive letter to Princess Celestia is pretty much my favourite thing on the internet right now.
And great that Forbidden Planet NY are stocking ponies, hopefully that means Forbidden Planet London will too when they arrive over here. Seems like geek store staff will be more understanding of people hunting through blind bags with the codes looking for a particular pony than a regular toy shop would be.

I looked over the grab back pictures and I see no Luna or Celestia. I cry foul! They put ponies in there that are not even shown in the show and leave out all of our favorites from the show. FOUL! BOO! Fire your dumb marketing department! Get people who have an IQ bigger then their shoe size and pay attention to what the people willing to spend money want to spend money on.

Woo just went to Forbidden Planet. They had all the regular ponies including cheerilee and then they had the posable shine bright ponies. Bought a Rarity and Pinkie without shame at the register. The cashier looked like he aged 10 years when I bought them and tried not to say anything.
