I really like the "Brains & Beauty" thing they've got going for Twilight Sparkle. You don't really see toys made for little girls having a message of "hey, yeah, you can be super-smart AND pretty at the same time!" all that much.

Realistic on-model plushies would definitely be an improvement. I'd so get one for each of the characters, especially Twilight and Fluttershy.
Also, that "Brains & Beauty" thing for that Twilight Sparkle bag is definitely pretty neat and also very accurate in regards to her personality.

I work at Dollar Tree and when I saw the activity books I had to literally hide it so I could buy it later. It was the last copy.

I got my boyfriend to stop at Target after work to check the dollar bins for the pony stuff. No luck. :( I'm going to check another Target tomorrow when we're out shopping and another on Sunday during our trip to New Hampshire. I'm a sucker for cute cheap stuff, so I'm DEFINITELY going crazy for cheap pony stuff haha.
I saw 'brains' and missed the other stuff, and thought 'ZOMBIE PONIES'.
Finally, some pony merchant that actually looks worth buying. I'm sooo getting that Celestia pen for when school starts up and those magnets to decorate my locker. :D

Cool, though I wish they would pick a broader spectrum of colors for the notebooks and such. Maybe using the colors of the Mane 6, for example...
This is another gender stereotype that needs to be pulverized. Little girls are not chromatically challenged, and do like other colors besides pink, if my nieces are any indication.

I got the coloring book! It's about 50-60 pages long and only $1. (But there does seem something off about the art... probably because it was drawn by non-animators, I'd guess. Oh well. I got a pony book. :) )
Can't believe myself, feel like I need a Ponies Anonymous thread (And I'm too lazy to look). Just over a month ago I was graduating high school. Had no idea there was a new MLP series, and probably would have laughed till I hurt myself if you told me I would be a fan. Now I gave ponies on my desktop, on my iPod, all over my bookmarks, and over a gig of pony stuff on my hard disk. Now I'm thinking up excuses to borrow the car to sneak out to but some merch, and earlier today I found myself putting a cutie mark on one of my 1:18 model cars (Rarity would like a Mercedes, right?). Sorry for the rant, after two weeks of lurking around MLP sites (Manely here) with no real life bronies around where I live, I may have just snapped...
