Half Price at Hasbro Toy Shop

For those of you looking to buy ponies in the near future, or if you just want a coupon for the inevitable blu-ray release, Hasbo Toy Shop currently has a Groupon up for a 50% discount up to 30 bucks.

I've never used Groupon before, so feel free to yell at me if there is some kind of catch.

You can find the link here!

Thanks to Eskara1862 for the heads up!

Hmm. Anyone who can tell if that would work for Europeans, or anyone outside of the States?

I'm in Germany, and the link works. haven't bought anything though.

I guess not... You have to enter the state you live in. And there is no option for anything but America, Australia, Canada or the UK.

waaaaaaait a second. so, if I uderstand this right... you pay 15 dollars for a coupon that will offer you 50% off a 30 dollar purchase, as in, 15 dollars off. so instead of hasbro getting 30, groupon gets 15 and hasbro gets 15...

wouldn't it be the exact same price to you without the groupon? or am I not understanding how it works?

I ordered a few days ago. They charge for shipping and sales tax but it's still worth it to get this deal. I basically got $23 worth of toys for $17, but it seems the Toy Store is out of stock on certain items.

@Adrian Brony

I believe that it means that you get a $30 "gift card" for $15

@Adrian, I think you pay $15 and get a coupon worth $30. Like a voucher.

I bought the coupon, now where do we buy things in the future?

@Adrian Brony If I understand this correctly its a voucher for 30 dollars purchase priced at 15 dollars.

Hasbro's official UK shop offers a horrible selection of pony toys. Basically, only old stuff. Definitely not worth buying a voucher.

@Anonymous
FiM just aired in the UK.

I don't see DVDs listed anywhere on the website. Dunno if they'll be stocking the upcoming Season 1 DVDs.

This may prove very useful for the upcoming Friendship Day gift exchange!
