Sorry, but;
Attraction to non-humans is WRONG? That's an awfully intolerant, selfish and unnecessarily conservative point of view, and if you don't mind me saying, it's not in lieu with the base message of the show whatsoever. Love an tolerance; You may not like it, but don't call other people freaks for having fetishes they (in theory) can't help having. Having sex with an animal could certainly be deemed wrong, but insulting another for being attracted to one, and drawing art to release that tension, I would find significantly more "wrong" than anything you deface.
TLDR; Grow up, learn to accept and respect others despite their fetishes et cetera.

However, homosexuality is logical because they're still attracted to people of the same species, there's usually just psychological and chemical stuff that makes them attracted to the same sex. However, there's not chemical justification to attraction to ponies, only psychological. And now your probably gonna say something like "there intelligent being capable of consent." In that case, paedophilia must be all right, because a child can give consent.

Humans will always be atracted to pleasing personalities. For instance, the girl I'M attracted to isn't the most beautiful girl on the planet (I REALLY had to force myself to be honest there...), but her personality is beautiful to me. She can do no wrong in my eyes, just from the fact she's a kind, talented- *Shakes head violently* Snap out of it! *Ahem* The characters of the show and the various fanfic produced by fans of the show have developed these characters with personalities. Someone, somewhere is going to feel SOMETHING when experiencing that character's personality, be it pity for Berry's drunkeness, or love for Fluttershy's cute shyness. Now, Zoophilia is being attracted to animal, a thing without a personality. It's not really the same thing as liking something that has a clear, defined, complicated personality.

I don't get how the population control comment is offensive. Gay people can't have babies naturally, so if the couple wishes to raise a child, most of the time it's adoption. And as I said, a child is not an intelligent being (In a sense). A child is in development, a child does not have the mental capacity to gauge what "It" even is, let alone have the mental capacity to be emotionally mature enough to handle "It". Let's say that the ponies of this universe did in fact exist. They would have thoughts and feelings as equally complicated and coplex as a human's. An adult version of them would be the emotional equivalent to an adult human, therefore if a human and one of these "Ponies" did decide to have relations, it would be on an equal, emotional choice. It isn't a hole in that line of thinking. And how did we get on this subject anyway? O_o It's quite odd...

I think the problem is these conversations always seem to become a debate over where to draw the line with fetishes. It's a debate that will never have a clear conclusion and it's just deflecting from the real issue.
I say, who cares? Just be honest with yourself. A fetish is a fetish. You can justify it all you want but some people are still going to be weirded out by it and part of having a fetish means you should be respectful of that and not try to skew it as some kind of unassailable lifestyle.
The real conversation should be about whether or not this sort of stuff should be on the blog. Obviously, it's Seth's blog, and he can do what he wants. (Though I hope he recognizes the- optional- responsibility that comes with owning such an internet hotspot.) The issue is that the vast majority of pony fansites either began or have eventually started to cater to the more fringe edges of the fandom. FiMchan (and now ponibooru) is full of porn, ponychan is 90% roleplaying, and the forums that have been around since before G4 generally tend to be less-than-receptive to the "brony" audience. Equestria Daily really is, or was, one of the only places where fans of G4 could come and not be greeted with pages upon pages of roleplaying and fetish material.
But anon! You're not respecting my need to fap to ponies! Yes, I am. You have your sites to talk about fapping to ponies. It should not be physically painful to refrain from doing so all the time.
I don't really have a problem with the .gif, since it's behind a "saucy" link. But the blog, especially since getting the new authors, definitely has been becoming a bit racier. I hope this isn't an increasing trend.

If you want to define Zoophilia as attraction to, or even sex with animals, then it doesn't apply here. There are no animals present in these pictures. They are, in fact, drawings. Cartoons, if you will. Cartoons of very unrealistic ponies. Just as anime-styled humans are very unrealistic. Some people find these cartoons attractive (I think we all must, to some extent), and that's okay. Some people find these cartoons arousing, and that's okay too. You know why? Because no real animals (or people) are involved. It's all make-believe. No one is getting hurt. There's no animal cruelty, no zoophilia. I don't know if there is a word for it yet, but this is merely an attraction to (anime-styled) cartoons. If no one is getting hurt or abused, who the buck cares?

We care because some of the artwork ruins the innocent image that makes us enjoy this show. I am sick and tired of seeing shipping and sexualized artwork and stories on here. These kind of things can cause people to have a negative image of bronies and makes us look creepy. I like this show because it is a happy escape from messed up stuff in real life. But when people make this kind of art and stories, it ruins the whole thing and makes me afraid to even visit this page or admit I am a brony for fear of being associated with this stuff.
I love #9. The perspective is wonderful.

I definitely understand your point, and I agree with keeping that stuff off this particular site. The last thing I want to have happen is for bronies to gain the same stigma as furries unfortunately carry. I was just arguing that the existence of such pictures isn't inherently wrong or immoral.
Anyway, that's just my two cents. Carry on, Drawfriend.

Don't come here. Nopony's forcing you to, and even if you can endure the unadulterated "smut" that cakes the blog, there isn't some dire consequence to skipping over fics with tags you don't like, and last time I checked you have to click through again to see saucy images.
It isn't fan-generated content that'll give us a bad name, it's screeching prudes like you. Shipping drives me up the wall most of the time, but it can be fun on occasion and a lot of ponies rather like that sort of thing. Should their enjoyment be curtailed just because it makes you uncomfortable?
It's intolerant and small-minded to shriek for the removal of every piece of fiction or art just because you don't like it or because it wouldn't get a G-rating. Remember the message, brony; it's love and tolerance, not BAN THIS SICK FILTH.
As to what's going on in #17... It's apparently something to do with yugioh. Not my area of expertise, so I'm gonna say it's Ratity's first pass at making a Griffon disguise for some kind of covert-ops mission in griffin territory.
I think people are going to start saying that DJ-PON3 is a albino who dyed her main blue.

It's not really that people call us horse fuckers. I mean honestly, when was the last time "brony" was equated with horse fucker outside of our own community and the trolls in 4chan? Honestly, I think that we are sometimes more critical and abusive to ourselves than those imagined fiends we believe to be watching us.
The REAL people who look down at us are the ones that see us as "adults wasting their time watching a little girls cartoon show". Those people have such a small minded and conservative view of the world that there is no use in really trying to reason with them. They will hate us because we aren't like them, or they will bad mouth us to bring in ratings from people who hate us.

But you're right, there needs to be more poison joak pictures and comics. HEY! That should be the next draw-event! A poison joak off! Take your favorite pony and draw them under the poison joak effects. All ponies can be included, even some of the more well known OC ponies (Madmax, Sargent Sprinkles, Phoe, ect.)

Since months and months ago. It all started with a comic of Dash and Scratch in bed, talking about comics about being in bed and not elluding to anything. Dash asked Scratch why she's always wearing glasses, to which Scratch replies, "I can show you, but only for a second." Then we only see Dash awe-struck.
After that, everypony started speculating and the one that really stuck was Scratch's eyes being a bright ruby red.
I can really only remember seeing one thing that had her eyes any other color, and the artist did two versions: red or purple.
