Every one of those cosplayers was the nicest person. And the dude on stilt-legs was converting poeple all day long . he had these cards from brony.org. And he was handing them out to everyone ( He must have had thouands )

I truly wish I was there. I have to admit though, the temptation would be powerful to simply spend way too much time at that booth, especially when there is just so much to see and do there. (Also, much temptation to have somebody snap a picture of me riding the giant Pinkie Pie statue. The cost of getting myself out of the trouble pulling such a stunt would put me in would be too great, but still...)
Also: Tara Strong, yay! Ponies on the big Hasbro display sign? Please somebody tell me that they were showing actual episodes! Brony shirt in the mustang style? I'm kind of actually leaning towards 'meh' on it (I think they could have done a better job on the parody of the mustang logo).
All in all, some awesomely sweet stuff being shown here. Thanks again to everyone who shared what they saw!

Yeah, this is effing awesome.
Now, I don't know what you guys might think, but I will say this is better than going to comic con. It's free, you can stay barefeet in your house, enjoy the AC, and don't have your eardrums hammered with ambient noise, loud music and people shouting.
Yeah, you miss on meeting the celebrities and taking pictures at kickass cosplays, and all the free merch and other activities, but I waged the possitive aspects are more than the negative (imo, anyways).

Those G1 ponies are the exclusive con ponies, like how they have exclusive action figures for other franchises people can buy. Now why they aren't custom G4 ponies considering everything else they're promoting at the booth is G4, but even G1 tolerating ol' me isn't exactly sure what to make of the design. It doesn't really scream Comic-Con, it just screams...something.
The Nightmare Moon and Fluttershy cosplays are awesome, however.
I dunno. Having been to a few fairly large cons myself, I have to say that rather be at a con myself, then watch videos of other people's experiences. Yeah, its loud, long lines, annoying people, ect, but its more fun then watching the con through someone else's eyes, because chances are, you're not interested in all the same things they are.
Plus, you never know when something totally unexpected and shit-yourself awesome could happen.

Special Art ponies are G3. They've always been G3 and Hasbro promised they'd continue to be G3 until collectors said otherwise. They're planned out nearly a year in advance. Toy design isn't some instant process. It takes time. I believe they've taken into account the G4's popularity and are considering special G4s for next year. So keep your hooves crossed.
I have been on Ebay all day trying to get one of those posters, I've bid on at least 12 of them and someone always out bids me or the poster goes out of my price range (I am not willing to pay $25 for a poster no matter how awesome it is)
