PMVs: Pony Got Back // 1812 Overture Finale // Daft Pony Technomagic

Electric lyre! It's like Electric Six, except a lyre isn't a silly band.

Spoilers: the first video is the best. Just trust me. You should watch it for the plot.

1.) Pony Got Back
2.) 1812 Overture Finale
3.) Daft Pony Technomagic

Oh remember remember remember the fifth of November.
But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace soubriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.

*sigh* It was only a matter of time before that first vid was posted here

@Anonymous
I wonder why they call you V.

Figures someone would quote V for Vendetta with any video of 1812 Overtune around. Odd though how the song was commission to celebrate a Russian victory at the Battle of Borodino.

The Daft Punk video: amazing.

Many brownie points for Overture. Some very clever imagery there. Not all worked out equally well, but its a brave thing to attempt imo. I enjoyed it.

Third one was also very entertaining. Loved Rarity's "Zip unzip it", very clever ^^. Also, bonus points for including G1 Spike and Candy Mane <3

@Anonymous Twilight: Who are you?

Pinkie : Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a pink pony.

Twilight: Well I can see that.

Pinkie: Of course you can, I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a party pony who she is.

Twilight: Oh, right.

Pinkie: But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace soubriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Presto! In plain sight a humble patriotic pony, cast proxy as both prey and perpetrator by the probability of fate. This phizog, no mere pretext of pride, is a print of the "popular belief" now passed away, perished. However, this plucky phantasm of a bygone provocation stands provoked, and has pledged to put down these purchasable and pernicious pests, pioneering profligacy and permitting the powerfully perverse and prodigious pollution of preference.
The only pronouncement is punishment; a Pinkdetta, held as a proficiency not in pride, for the price and probity of such shall one day protect the pure and the principled. Precisely this potpourri of paraphrase pivots most prolix so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me Pinkie.

Twilight: Are you like a crazy person?

Pinkie: I'm quite sure they will say so.

what took so long for the first one to be made?

Technologic must have taken a long time to make. Also, darn it, I had a great idea for a PMV earlier today, but now I can't remember what it was. :(

@BronyVids

Did you write that? Because if you did, you're a genius.

That 1812 Overture video was amazing.

Now if only we could get ponies mixed with Riders of Doom from Conan the Barbarian, and my life will be complete.
