I could understand "Friendship is magic" or "Twilight Sparkle is the best pony", but definitely not the actual brand name! People do seem to google very...strange things though. Hopefully all those people looking up Army Wives found what they were looking for.
Bronytoons Teaser Trailer
Yesterday I had a news update about the Brony Toons group working on a fan animation. They have released a teaser trailer for the show. You can find it here! I know Hub doesn't usually shut these things down, but the old Zazzle shoe store got axed due to Dr. Whooves copyright infringement. I hope they don't run into any issues there!
Bronies at AnimeNEXT
Apparently there was a pretty big showing of bronies and general pony cosplay at the AnimeNEXT convention. I think I might head down to kinkos and print a bunch of pony posters for the next one in Arizona! I bet I'd make a fortune!

A massive forum post over on the MMO-Champion website (Pretty much the main hub outside of the primary blizzard website for World of Warcraft) has hit the record books over there for largest post ever on the site. I suddenly realized the length of the update queue when the author of "Irreplaceable" said his latest chapters had been up on docs for two DAYS before the story's update tonight.
Considering we get 24+ posts a day, that queue must be huge.

I doubt the animated teaser will cause problems. I think the BBC just found "unauthorized merchandise" more potentially "harmful" not knowing it was for charity. There's been tons of little Doctor Who parodies floating about on Youtube and similar places.

Well, there is a convention in Flagstaff before Saboten. But I'm hoping to make it to Sabo. Maybe there should be a brony meet-up there.
Oh man, just earlier today I clicked on that thread on MMO-Champion just to see what was up. And they were talking about how they were the biggest thread on the site and beating that forum game of Posters vs. Moderators.
I actually tried to get involved in that thread a while back but I couldn't keep up with the 10+ pages after going to bed and waking up and increasing by the minute.
I also remember when they were competing for post #9001 - that was funny.
...don't give me reasons to read mmo-champion foums. Last time I did browse those forums I was stuck for the rest of the evening ;P
Not that it really is that much when compared to *certain unnamed other* "obsession" we all possess, know n' love... *COUGH!*

The Dr. Whooves video looks interesting. After the custom video of him that was posted here the other day, I'm excited to see how this will turn out.
I have quit WoW around February.
Didn't really check what's happening there ever since, but as someone who tries to quit smoking gradually, I kept visiting MMO Champ for news and changes, though less and less frequently.
Nowdays I don't care at all for WoW, glad I could quit it for good :) (Ponies helped a lot)
Anyways, on those few occasions I went to MMO-Champ in the past months I did notice that a Pony thread is constantly on the top (to those who are not familiar with the site: there's a bracket on the main page above the News which monitors the 7 threads that has been the most recently posted in). I have noticed after a few weeks it is ALWAYS there among the top, and I have never seen such an active thread on that site even though I have been an active visitor for years :P
The last time I checked it was around 1000 pages and gotta admit I actually thought it will be locked down or die. I was wrong. :P
So yeah folks. We are everywhere, we are active and we make every place 20% cooler :)

Hey guys. <3 I was the chubby Rainbow Dash at AnimeNext. Hoofs up to the Brony who posted those pics! I had a blast. For those having issues, you need to be logged in to FB.
They're not ALL our pics though. We started outside and came it when it started to rain. When I find another album floating around I'll send it in.
So many people came up to us, and a helpful Pokemon trainer with an MP3 player hit the FiM theme twice for us to sing and dance to.
A group of Doctor Who cosplayers recognized and acknowledged our Doctor Whooves at one point! It was amazing and the best day ever.
