This guy has dug out a bunch of animation errors from various Friendship is Magic episodes. It's pretty entertaining. A lot of this stuff was discussed on /co/ back in the day.
Meh, I'd just as soon be oblivious, honestly. I don't want my enjoyment of the show to suffer because I keep noticing "oh yeah, this is the part where . . ."
I can't really blame the animators for these- they do some pretty complicated stuff in flash, and it's inevitable that weird mistakes and glitches pop up.
Still, you have to wonder how stuff like that blue cyclops pony happens...

there is also another double rainbow dash in a couple other episodes if im correct but they look EXACTLY like RD i think one of them is in the Trixie episode if im correct not sure but cool finds they things at the end freaked me out a little though haha...BLANK FLANK got a little old also tee hee
As an animation fan, I LOVE spotting errors and easter eggs, but man I didn't think this show would have so many. A handful I already knew, but the one I didn't were pretty funny. I found the storyboard drawing hiccup interesting. It's like one of the animators was going through frames and saw it, moved it a bit, then finally got rid of it, lol.
I remember seeing one of threads on /CO/ discussing the errors just before watching a few of the episodes. They become real "what has been seen cannot be unseen" kind of things after that. It drives you a bit mad after awhile.
@ Narwhal's Bend Not sure who the source is, but I think the image is based on a theory about why the Apple family keep pigs, as seen in the episode "Show Stoppers".
Sonic Rainboom - RD & Fluttershy switch places when the balloon first appears in Cloudsdale
Call of the Cutie - Cheerilee's tail loses the middle light pink section at various sections in the beginning.
Almost any episode with a lot of background ponies in a scene - there's at least 2-3 copies of each pony, usually in a cut & paste fashion
And if you want to get really nitpicky... you can also point out how often they simply flip the hair on characters where it is most noticeable like Twilight and her two stripes.
He missed the escapee from Pony Prison, aka the pony with the numbers on her neck in the front row at the beginning of the fashion show in Dressed for Success.
Otherwise, great catches. As well as the running jokes and Gutsman refs. Funny and educational~

I can understand the mistakes for the "blank flank" background ponies, or duplicates, nobody will really notice unless your nitpicking or heavily analyzing. The only real problem they need to step up on is the dissapearing clothing, which i noticed while watching the show casually.
Anyway, thanks for helping manifest my upcoming nightmares, moar lulz and the Rule 64.

I'm surprised some people are scared about being mean to the animators by posting this up. These kinds of videos HELPS the animators, so they don't make mistakes like this in the future.
How did I NOT NOTICE THESE BEFORE!?!?!? I have noticed "hiccups" in the way their hind legs move because which I only noticed because of doing pony vectors. I suppose I was too distracted by the colors and awesome of the story? I could probably watch all these episodes again and never catch them all still...
I'm surprised that they didn't mention the second episode (part 2 Mare in the Moon) when the mane ponies first walked into the chamber with the elements of harmony you can clearly see SIX elements of harmony stones on that structure holding them.
Later, after they made a point about there being only FIVE of them they pan back and you see all six are missing.

can someone tell me what the subliminal messages are? also i dont think cupcakes scares me a lot even though(the pop-up caught me off guard)i read the description and looked at some of the fan art it dosnt scare me it just creeps me out. besides, i read something worse.(it made me feel nearly sick from all the gore but its also kind of funny)
I feel smug for noticing more than half of these and having posted them on a tumblr dedicated to animation errors weeks before the videos were made. For every one I didn't notice until this video, they miss three I discovered.
I found the freeze frame in the 4th video and I was like yay plot!
Then I found the first one in the 5th video and I was like okay then...
Then I saw the next one and I was mildly creeped out.
And finally I missed the text on the hydra and I clicked back to re-read it and accidentally stumbled onto the last freeze frame with the apple family. I'm now quite disturbed.
One mistake that he missed; Episode 23, cutie mark chronicles, 00:08, the order of zip line cables from front to back is Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom then Scootaloo. Then a few seconds later it's Scootaloo, then Apple Bloom, then Sweetie Belle!
I had no idea about the most of these, but there are at least 2 he missed... Recolored (blue) Scootaloo in the classroom and Philomena`s cage gets mirrored after the camera zooms in. Aaand I think I found all 3...
When Pinkie Pie sings the Evil Enchantress song, she jumps on an empty table at the end. The view then shifts at the other ponies then back at her, but the table suddenly has cakes and sweets on it.
In episode 2, when the ponies confront the camp crying dragon, it splashes water on them in a tantrum. When the view shifts to the ponies being splashed, you'll notice that a couple of them (The two pegasi I believe) have mysteriously switched places.
The third video also missed a missing CM on pinkie in one of those shots...

Swarm of the century has Rainbow Dash staring at Rarity's butt for a few seconds before bowing to Celestia.
If that's not a blooper, then thats a sign that Rainbow Dash looks at other ponies posteriors when their not paying attention.

Well, if anything, the biggest things the animators may want to keep an eye out are consistent props and pegasi wings.
The blank flank issue, however, I think is just the nature of large crowds of ponies. After all, that's a lot of cutie marks to fill in.

that had me rollin. and yet the reasoning part of my mind could see why all those blank-flanks were there. animator is lazy and saves time.
Second video: Rainbow's Mirrored Ink-eyes.
The Ink-mark was still on her left eye, it was just mirrored in the water. All things appear on their other sides in reflections.
At least I'm fairly sure that's what happened?

vol.4 blocked in Poland but if you have blocked one of vol in your country you can use proxy gate to avoid block.
