A group going by the name of /b/ Game Studios (yes, that /b/) is planning on creating the first MLP FiM Dating sim based on some pictures that popped up way back when FiM wasn't an internet phenomenon.

I Only enjoy FIM because of the animation, trailers such as PonyCraft2,The Fandom(could list a lot), How sometimes the show parodies itself. Due to games aren't even completed, let alone be able to play them which takes down something which i would enjoy a lot, and would of enjoyed over 100% if it was made when i recently discovered the show
So i ask myself...should i discovered this show way later when season 2 would come? so i don't have to wait for anything, and i enjoy it to the fullest when it is recognised world-wide the games are created,fan-animations,professionaly made parodies,songs, Overall more quality stuff being piled together and put somewhere so i can enjoy it without breaks.

Not all visual novels feature sex. You can have a visual novel with great romance and plot without having sex. For the one I planned on doing I wasn't going to feature any sex in mine. And yeah some people who like this series might be furries, but there are also people who aren't furries who like this show as well.
But I believe that this game is being made for the sake of it being a fun game to play for everyone who wants to play it.

Alright, for anyone who is wondering, I am the one who has came up with the concept for the game, And of course, I don't usually frequent /b/, but when I do, it's just browsing. I also am using the name /b/ as it is intended on 4chan, to represent random. So if you have a problem, just tell me. And the reason there is no fluttershy, is because I have that part under control. And, yes, there will be plenty of H (Hentai) endings, as concepted on the original thread on 413(?) chan. If you have any more questions, email me.

I agree with anonymous. Programming something like this is like a piece of cupcake. The writing & art however is an entirely different story.
Oh ya, and the Ren'Py visual novel editor, is a combination of Javascript and HTML, so it takes a genius to work.

And for all those people who want to know if Rule 34 will be involved, An anon up there did say that Rule 35 makes it so we have to do it. And yes, there will be three versions made (hopefully). A "Human" version, where ponies are replaced by human counterparts, a "hardcore brony" version, where there will be rule 34, and a "friendship" version, where there will be dating, just no rule 34.

A visual novel will live or die on its writing, so it's wise to heavily restrict player choice. (Force them to play a known character, restrict the dating pool, etc.) Although this looks like it means to be a more generic dating simulation, so w/e.
I actually think I'd rather go pranking with Pinkie and Dash, or read in Twilight's library, or buck apples with A.J., or count bunnies with Fluttershy, or model dresses with Rarity, or deliver mail with Derpy, or raid fridges with Derpy, or watch T.V. with Carrot Cake, or brush hair with Colgate, or plant gardens with Roseluck and Daisy, or learn music from Lyra, or hate everything with Gilda, or fly with Spitfire and Soarin', than try to get into their saddles.
It would take a very well-constructed (and rather lengthy) dating sim to build a real feeling of mutual familiarity with a fictional character, particularly if there's a lot of characters to choose from.

I first found Twilight and Rarity's months ago on dA. I'm not sure whether they were somepony from the show or just phrased it wrong that they sounded like they were.

If this works out, and isn't just a pipe dream, it could be good. It would be tough to get it right as pretty much everybody has different ideas about how each pony would react in certain situations. Still could work, You just need the right people.

From the pictures in the fim.423 chan topic, and you can get a bad ending for cheating on Rarity. Here's an idea: You literally date everyone you can and mantain a relationship with everyone. Then by doing someone you get found out by everyone then you get a fate worse than all the bad endings combined.
Really, the only reason I would play this is to get every bad ending.

Ive trashed the R34 pony version, because there is such a massive group against it, but, if it gets enough requests in the future, it can be done. For now, there will be an R34 free version with ponies, and a R34 version with humans.

Just to clarify something, IM done with the sim. ITS not done. :P I have come to realize thats how it might come across but thats not it. A team member greatly wronged and insulted me, my friends, and my family in a rather in-Brony like way so I did what I could to get myself off the team, most of whom I still have great respect for. ...I love ponies as much as the next guy, shit, anypony can see that just by looking at my name and avatar... but my feelings are mixed on this game. I suppose it depends on the direction this game were to take... If this were to end up as some casual dating sim, maybe with a few innuendos and suggestive themes on the side to keep things interesting, this would have potential to be pretty awesome, but if it were to be an outright H-Game, THAT would be going way too far for my tastes.
