Story to go with it: The seating: Before painting I studied da Vinci's original Last
Supper. Placing Celestia in the central place of Jesus was quite
obvious. The apostles are in groups of three, and this was good
because I could have formed two groups of the six main ponies. Since
in Bible John was Jesus' favourite disciple, it was natural to put
Twilight Sparkle in his place, as Celestia's favourite. However Judas
the traitor was next to John, and who of the six main characters could
have empony a traitor? I had no choice but to break up the main
characters' groups and put Luna there. I put Trixie in the place of
Peter (because of the similar aggressive behaviour), while originally
I thought to place Spike there. The rest of the ponies and fillies
then just got the sides.

#24 Wait a minute there's no smiling in The Last Supper the whole scenario is Jesus dropping the bomb of "Yo homies I know we's the tightest posse in all of Jerusalem but soon one y'alls gonna shank me in the back for realz". It is not a scene that warrants a table of grins. Just look how the bodies and faces are actually posed.
Art history rant aside it is well drawn.

Earth pony Pinkie Pie just broke the sound barrier. With a *hang glider*. A HANG GLIDER. And then candy fell from the sky. Kudos to all the 'boom artists. Special mention to the moonboom just 'cause of that boss look on Luna's face: "'Sup."
I do appreciate the Scratch images. Scratch dozing pic made me think that is her little kindergarten naptime mat ^^; from a distance anyway. S'cute <3

I find the lack of Appledash these last few posts...disturbing.
Having Dash in the background going "lolwut" in #28 sealed it for me.
#17 catches my interest simply because it indicates that MLP has wormed its way into Japan. Not that that's particularly surprising, given the culture's obsession with cuteness, but it's still a milestone to be proud of.
i hate myself for this, but #8 is my favorite

#11 WOW, i love the added depth to this pic, i try to do that to my pics of the ponies . . . i add a little bit of realism to them . . . althought i try not to defer from their "natural" looks. The main things i loved about a horses/pony face is their EYE . . . and ears. I loved to play with my mares ears . . . at first she detested but after a while she grew to like my scrithing them. Oh how i miss her . . . . UHH . . .yeah This pic of Fluttershy is really cool, i love the personality portrayed by the linework, just like as in Source picture #1 I would love it in higher resolution for useage as a background image!
