This right here is how you recolor a pony! Lets do it Hasbro! I'll even advertise them here for you.
If you are interested in making your own, the Twilight Sparkle toy in the 5 pack is probably what you want to mold it from. Photo finish is actually a recolor of Twilight in the show too, so it works out nicely!

Wow I think this is the best custom pony yet. Though that's probably because she has goggles covering the ugly eyes all of the toys have,
The best fashion pony needs only the highest-quality custom. I may have to get into this myself. I may go without her dress though: her cutie mark in-series is the same as Twilight's anyways.

I'm almost tempted to try this, but then I wouldn't have twilight any more, and don't want to buy another five pack just to get twi again...
That said that is really cool
Brotip: Keep checking eBay for singles or lots of the molded toys. I got the 5 pack for a grand total of 6 dollars.
