The Friend-off got delayed, again, if you haven't already noticed. Phoe is doing the drawing event, Cereal is busy IRL, and I am completely flooded with site management stuff as is, so It will have to wait until things open up a bit! This next one will be a reverse friend-off. Drawfriends Write, and Writefriends draw. Should be interesting.
Anyway I'm off to bed. Enjoy the completely obvious over 9million theme. As if you didn't see THAT one coming. I really missed making banners. It's one of the more fun things to do with the site.

nah, it's gonna be the same as when we hit 1M, that is: if you will be looking at it it will go from 9.999.999 to 1.000.000, but after refreshing the additional number will be shown

I think The Equestria Girls video added a huge boost to the site. I remember seeing the counter going crazy during the time it was released. If we get a few more big things like that, we could definitely hit 10 million before season 2.

I was a little suspicious of it too, but closer examination shows that that's just because it has to play the counter animation for every new visit. Just wait a couple minutes on a page, watch the counter, remember what number it's on, and refresh the page. On refreshing, it'll jump a hundred or so because the counter’s animation can’t keep up with how often the site is visited.
