+1 button!

Hooray for Blogger and their surprise updates to everything.

Apparently they added a +1 button. How can we use this? I have no clue.  At least it shows up every time unlike the star ratings that show up when they feel like it.

You can find it at the bottom of every post, it does require a login though.

I saw the new button a little bit ago. Was wondering what it did.

That thing about it showing up all the time isn't true, though. For an incredibly ironic example, there's no button for this article for me right now.

This is a really good feature by google.

They are also doing this right now for major websites at this time

@Sethisto
When you only view the post, it disappears.

Anytime else, it shows.

It's part of a new feature Google is adding to their search engine.

Basically, when you +1 something, you promote it in your friends' search results. It's a way of telling Google, "I like this, so my friends should like this too."

Not there, but oh well.

I like how the +1 post already has a score of 39. XD
