I wonder if they got Andrea Libman to actually provide Pinkie's voice. If so, that'd be a big redeeming factor for the G3.5-ish body.

why does the swarm of the century book have pinkie holding a parasprite when she was the one who knew what they were and was trying to get rid of them?
I can't judge just by the image (remember Bridle Gosip's lesson!), but I like the little books. I also want to hear that plush's voice and it's toy functions before a proper toy review.

Still looks like an abomination to me. The plushie doesn't look like Pinkie at all. And then... WTF a player inside? This is how an overpriced piece from China looks like.
Is it so hard to make something that resembles more like the ponies in the show? Pinkie Pie has to have the baloony hair!
This at least shows that they are taking our hints and working towards making their merch show-accurate, but what they've presented is a representation of "meeting us halfway".
I congratulate and thank Hasbro for listening to our suggestions, but I still urge that they continue to strive for a better G4 mold, if you will.
well, how would a G4 plush look? i'll wager it isn't much different from this. FiM character designs may not translate that well to 3D products.

I want a huggable Pinkie plushie. The talking ones are always uncomfortable to hug because they have a big chunk of machinery in them. And once the tape runs down, they sound creepy as hell.
That said, I'd almost be tempted to get this if it uses Pinkie's real VA.
Anyone else notice that Pinkie seems to get the most merchandise so far?
@Anonymous Well, Lauren once mentioned that Pinkie was one of the characters Hasbro told her from the start had to be in the show (the other one was Rainbow Dash.)
I get the feeling that Hasbro execs just figured "Girls like pink! Make more toys of the pink one!"
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the first episode that Twilight was the lead instead of Pinkie. Not that I don't love Pinkie, but the character with the most subdued color scheme never gets to be the lead. Probably Lauren's hand at work.

I don't think the plushie is that bad. Honestly the only problem is the hair, but its a bit too complicated to get right on a mass produced plushie.

I believe that if I buy anything pony related it should be of good quality and this obviously is not. they could do alot better in the way of looks. and if they didnt get the VA then it would be an even bigger no.
I'd prefer a talking Pinkamena Diane Pie plushie that says things like "Let's have a party!", "You are my very best friend!", "FOREVER!", ...

I suspect the third book is called 'Griffon Brush Off' because of the space gap on the cover. Compare with the other two covers and you'll notice the position of their text titles.
