FFFFFFFF, I wanted to try something like this, but I haven't had the time or the functionality to do so. Kudos to the person working on it, they've gotten further than I ever would anyways. XD
The "fat flanks", so far it looks like an unfinished issue of getting the hip joints to rotate without totally looking wrong, and disguising the normal avatar body. It can be done, but requires fine-tuning, but as a beta, it probably hasn't been covered yet. I'm not sure what combination of methods were used to form that shape anyhoo.
A BIGGER concern, I've not been playing for a while, but I wonder if there's any sort of potential snag in the future with selling these avatars or maintaining that sim, with MLP being some other entity's copyright/whatever.

Wow, figuring out SL's monstrous user interface took hours. You have to actually have your avatar hold the box just so you can open it and put the stuff into your inventory? The box itself was already in the inventory for pony's sake!

It's viewer 2 I can't get to work
In order to get the pony avatar and all the accesories, you just join to the "Bronies" group and get all the items they have in group notices, or go to the sim called "Sim" and have the base pony here. However, I suggest to join to the group to meet awesome bronies.And, if you see an Alair bronie, say hi to him.
Can anyone point me towards a Second Live for Dummies guide? I made an account, joined the group, and I THINK I downloaded the package, something called Earth pony Beta. No friggin clue what to do with it. When i double click I get a box on my hand. Can anypony gimme a clue??
find a area that allows you to build, then drag the item from your inventory to the ground
the box will "rez" then you can right click and select open
then select copy to inventory and it should appear in your inventory in a folder called whatever the boxes name was
oh.. there can be assholes but also decent individuals in SL.. dont get discouraged by the bad apples
