This tip comes to us from jenovaii. Apparently the official My Little Pony site maintained by Hasbro has launched some content since last month, including some goodies like the Luna coloring page above, as well as some episode summaries in video form and some other stuff.
Questionably interesting to anyone outside the target audience? That's up to you guys to decide. Personally, I like the coloring page. Too bad I don't have any crayons. Oh, wait, Photoshop!

And soon Hasbro will release a Princess Luna toy.... colored pink.

I'm blaming it on the fact the the site only plays the song in just one side of my headphones, and when I went to compare it with a Youtube clip, the music came out in stereo there.
So, yeah, hopefully just a bad audio set up from the Hasbro site.
Lesserpoet, yeah, AJ's voice was different-ish but it was still her at least. It's the same actress as Rainbow after all and Rainbow sounds exactly the same so...
Narwhals' Bend, I sure hope you're right. I'd just never seen it before. I'd hate for Rarity to have a different voice. Her's is pretty much my favorite.

Glad I'm not the only one that noticed that. Rainbow dash sounded the same, though. I wouldn't think that they'd get a new actress for Applejack, but not Rainbow Dash.
Could it be an old video, before the voice actresses were finalised?

Eh, could possibly be an earlier version of the intro, before they had all the voices set.
This intro video is old. It's been there for a few months at least. I would not worry about a change in VAs.
It sounds to me as if in fact the VA we have now for Rarity is the new VA (For the signing part at least.)
As for Applejack, it's just that her line was shaky so they redid it. It's the same VA.
I got Photoshop Elements 7... It works just as well.
Remember, Rarity has two VAs, one for speaking (Tabitha St. Germain) and one for singing (Kazumi Evans).

Maybe the first one is a proto-intro before they hired Evans as Rarity's Singing VA? Maybe its Tabitha trying to sing?

That whole thing is a pre-release draft of the OP (totally different take, except for "an easy feat") from well BEFORE the pilot aired. (Don't panic! Odd to see it floating around in a badly-encoded Hasbro promo, however.)
Ashleigh hasn't QUITE got Applejack down, I think that might be Tara Strong singing Twilight, and... Oh my STARS: that simply CAN'T be you, Tabitha, can it? Seriously, that's so different it's probably just a placeholder from before Rarity's voice was really worked out.
As we all know, the final result was much better. That's what drafts are for, after all, there's no shame in it!
